It's bizarre that an interview with a guy in costume and a bin on the head is less weird than your typical interview with a politician.
Very true. Reality, viewed through the lens of mainstream politics, makes little sense.
I can remember when Crispin Odey shouted from Johnson's office in Downing St. at the top of his voice "Francois, get in here now you bloody cretin". the little Mark Francois hurried in to the Prime Minister's office like a puppy on catnip, Odey stood up, towering over the dork, Francois and forcefully grabbed his left ear as tight as a vice grip, dragging the tiny fat little squeeking Francois over to the window, threatening him with as loud a voice as he could "If you screw this up again you stupid twerp, I'll drop kick you through this window, do you understand"
Francois, visibly shaking and contorting his squishy little face into an exagerated form of his usual comedy gurning apearance cried "Sorry Sir, owch, I'll do it, I'll do it I prommise" Crispin Odey, now with his red face and teeth showing loud and clear, released Francois, pushing him over onto the floor then with the loudest shout so far "now get out of here and don't come back empty handed, do you understand?" he kicked the little crumpled schoolboy lookalike in the goolies so hard, even I winced at the obvious pain.
We often laugh about that day over wine and cheese.
Actually, it's not bizarre since the lunatics took over the asylum.
We had a nice boring geography teacher, with a heart. We got this shitshow instead. 😐

You can tell it's not a human British politician. It's answers are way too coherent, and they're not completely void of meaning.
Actually the best political interview I've ever heard, and definitely the most truthful.

@@capt.bart.roberts4975 this guy (I think his name is Jon Harvey) is the guy who stood against Theresa May in 2017 wearing the bucket head costume. The costume was vaguely based on a character from an old American movie IIRC, and when his antics got popular on the internet the American guy who wrote the movie and has the rights to the character took over the twitter account, etc. and hired someone else to turn up as Lord Buckethead. So since he couldn’t use the Buckethead character, the British comedian created a similar character and kept doing it. Personally, I thought the American guy came out of it a bit churlish so I prefer this guy.

The result of the General Election in Johnson's constituency shows the dangers of joke candidates standing in serious elections. They win and you get Boris Johnson, how the hell a serious candidate like Count Binface, lost to the joke candidate I'll never understand.

If Count Binface became P.M. then there would be a sincere battle between the Count and Larry the Cat as to whom has the most integrity. If he stood in my constituency, I'd vote for him! That was actually sort of refreshing, to hear a politician actually answer the questions asked, rather than spouting the same party line to every question over & over, while answering none. More power to Count Binface, I say, may he have better success next time. 😁
It is maddening to think how much better life could be if Ed Milliband had made different dietry choices.
