I came across OCN through recommended To Watch feeds on TH-cam about 3 weeks ago. First thing I noticed was the athletic abilities of each of these rescuers as they chase & wrestle these beasts to their freedom. The outcome for me has been addictive. I have been watching nonstop.
That last seal was definitely conscious of your help. It calmed down immediately after the line was cut from its mouth. That was very noticeable. Thanks for what you lovely being do.
Whatching these older videos, it is SO impressive to see how much more experienced you are today and how much better the new nets work. The big one would not have escaped today.
Wow she is really strong! I love the second rescue, it's always so heartwarming when they stick around right after you guys take out the hook or fishing line.
He stayed because he’s no longer frightened of you guys since you just helped him feel so much better. How beautiful. What an absolute rewarding experience you get to enjoy. Bless both of you
I was looking at your past videos how you started Ocean Conservation Namibia, it was great to see how you took that passion to do what you love ! And to bring your family along for the ride is a testament to a great man you are! I pray your daughter keeps doing well. Great work by the team! Now I know the story behind the net.👍🏼
Aww boys I know you made the right decision in letting the first seal go, I'm sure the line will work its way out in time, 💯 % dedicated, big love from Liverpool 🇬🇧
Love the net cam and the slow motion “shit.” That poor girl, hopefully she’ll feel some relief now and maybe breathe a bit easier! She’s obviously strong so I’m sure she’ll be okay. And thankfully that pup has all the room it needs to grow now!
Wow, your job is even more dangerous when another seal tries to interfere. So amazing that you are willing to charge into the middle of all those moving masses!
I really think they need to add a stream with suggested audio for the seals. I know one of them had to be thinking smack talk. :) DONATE to these GUYS!
@@Potoum RIght!?! "Don't take my chain, put that finger back there again! I'm leaving now, but I will be back! Touch me again, I dare you! Try that in the water why don't ya. How big a boy are ya! The instant you cut the line and they feel cessation of pain, I see them inhale deeply, and I breathe too. I believe the second one was astonished by realizing his pain was gone, the look he gave you both was priceless! I believe he carries a memory of you from inside that moment, being freed from that horrible biting pain was probably more shocking to him than being wrestled by you was. It is a privilege to see, thank you. And for having hearts so big that you care about each one of these that gets into trouble, and do what's necessary to help them out of trouble, forever gratitude!
I just love it when they feel so good and relaxed they don't stress out about the humans any more... That's when I wonder if they understand the intention is good
I noticed that once the pain stops, some pups remain instead of running. I think he is just so relieved that it forgets to run. Poor little guy. Great work as always, guys!
I simply love & absolutely adore how some of them stay back to say thanks because they feel safe. I hope that the first seal's entanglement comes off. That on was very strong. Thanks for what you guys do. PS: I've watched all your videos now. I know I'm selfish when I say I hope you guys can upload many more as quickly as possible, but it's simply amazing work what you guys do. Keep it up!
Wow! I am impressed with the first seal. She lifted you up and moved forward with you on her back. Haahaa amazing stuff. She is so strong. My goodness.
You guys run so fast but I'm sure the seals are passing the word amongst themselves to be on the lookout in order to out manoeuvre you. Keep up the great work.
WOW.....you two are so BRAVE with those HUGH seals. So filled with KINDNESS directed towards sea animals. Thank You for saving the lives of these beautiful creatures. God Bless You young men.🍃🌎🕊
It's amazing the amount of power these seals possess. These dudes obviously know what they're doing, and have probably handled hundreds of seals, but even at that a large adult seal can give them quite a fight. Quite a workout, saving these beautiful sea lions.
You did everything you could with the resources you had. The seal will live a good long life now. It might still be grown into the skin but it won't cause the seal anymore pain. Thanks so much for your hard work and effort!
You guys amaze me at how you can always catch them right before they disappear in the water. That last pup was adorable. Thanks for all you do for them each day. 😊❤️
Oh no... another line that had skin grow over it :( poor girl. Yeah you're right, at least the tension was off after you guys cut it. And I loved watching that pup hang around for a little bit

Meus irmãos que alegria que vocês nós dão ajudando esses animais, os livrando de uma morte lenta e cruel. Parabéns e muito obrigado por este lindo trabalho que Deus os abençoe sempre.
I imagine that once they get to the water it's harder to pull them into a more favorable position, their flippers are probably able to pull better at water than the ground. And the fact that the foam makes it harder to see them definitely doesn't help. It always sucks to see one get away, but at least you did what you could. Good on ya.

The first save didn't go as expected, but you did get the line cut so the constriction would stop. The pup felt much better and relaxed after getting the line cut, and was happy to thank you for helping👍
