Everything shown off looks sick, but there was so little shown off (as per usual) that it makes me worried. Noticed they only showed off a new map and a salmon run stage, implying we won't be getting even as much as a returning S2 stage?
New salmon run stage looks so cool also finally they implemented gimmicks in both pvp and salmon stages, new splatfest mechanic, all the weapons we expected because only 12 were left with no second kits so makes sense they would split them evenly across both new seasons plus 2 new weapons. and to top it all off the massive dlc that looks amazing drops in 9 days. Think I can live with them not bringing back a stage that we've already seen before
@@MeloniestNeon You'd think there'd be a huge multiplayer content drop to get people into the game as Side Order releases. Octo Expansion was a big revival for S2. Unless there's a bunch of content they're intentionally not revealing that's tied to Side Order, this is so underwhelming for multiplayer content it's really sad.

From what I can tell, I think fizzbangs are supposed to help with retaking. Though they look like clam blitz, they actually stock up with you when you spawn back with 4 of them ready to go. So in theory, when an enemy is holding you up in your base, you can disperse them out with the fizz bangs and get the splat with that chip damage. ALSO THEY SHOWED ONLY ONE NEW MAP WHICH MEANS THEY ARE HIDING A RETURNING MAP or they just don’t want to do two maps this time… NAH DEFINITELY A HIDDEN MAP. (They also brought back the s2 victory animations for an emote in the brellas and dualies portion of the video)
If this shows every weapon we’re getting this season that means Naut, Edit, Hydra, Bambo, Range blaster and Glooga won’t get second kits until final update I think

They are defiantly hiding an old s2 stage. Look at all the s2 easter eggs Off the Hook on a airplane, them playing music, and old dualie victory animation. You could also count all the s2 reference kits. That stage design also looked very similar to s2 maps btw. Edit: Also if thats not believable remember that side order is taking place in the old s2 hub world or connected with it so I see a good opportunity for this to happen based on all that.
One thing I really appreciate about Chara's reactions is that they're completely organic. He doesn't try to beef up his reactions for it to be more interesting to watch, we get his honest-to-god first take on the new stuff. But I will say he was a lot calmer than I was watching 1:22, I absolutely lost my mind seeing this epic new Salmon Run stage
I hope fizzbang can be a new sub for Splat3, it'd be cool to give the clam blitz throwing functionality a use in other game modes. It feels like it could be versatily too: Do you try to splat 1 problem player with a barage of mini annoying bombs, or do you use fizzbangs to aid teammates in skirmishes to aide them in encounters with annoying auxilary fire you can just lob into the enemies space?
My first impressions are that it seems pretty good, and the map seems to have an entire big bottom area on the sides of the stage under the fans. Unfortunately since we have two new charger kits (E-Liter and Squiffer) I’ll probably have to wait another three months for my Bamboo kit

I love that the pvp maps have all these lovingly crafted details and animated npcs and the new SR map has choppy gifs for background characters cause the frame rate would be 3 at max hazard level

Unfortunately I don’t think we’re getting a new mode in this game, iirc the devs stated in an interview that after the reaction to clam blitz in 2 they decided challenges would be the new mode to freshen up the game. Cop out excuse and straight up lazy but after seeing the unfiltered and unwarranted hatred clam blitz got in 2 I can kinda understand it. They’re too afraid to make another game mode lmao

I don‘t think Dread Wringer will get Tacticooler because there is already an other weapon in the slosher class which has tacticooler: Tri-Slosher Nouveau. The same goes for E-Liter with Ink Storm where Snipewriter 5B already has this special.

The recycled brella is RECYCLED so the sheild comes back immediately when it breaks after being launched
