Your pedal reviews are some of the best ! You actually know your stuff and can apply these pedals , also really liked your trip to Chicago video !! Very cool ! Thanks for everything Shane !
This is the last of the Caline pedal videos. I hope you dig the new jam track! If you want to see more pedals like this check out the playlist - th-cam.com/play/PLNYCekIbACIT2aFFDCWnembUtuhtdsU1D.html Thanks for watching and wishing everyone well for Christmas!
No, it's quite good. If I notice any issues with noise I would mention it. All compressors raise the noise floor as it's modifying the dynamics, but this is no better or worse than more expensive compressors.
The Tomsline Bass limiter is a fantastic compression type effect except its boosting the signal until it compresses. From what I have read. I bought it because it was a bargain and I thought it would improve the bass guitar. It's fantastic on guitar and always on. I had a boss compression sustainer in the early nineties and didn't like it.
I really enjoyed the new jam track and yes, since you play a Tele, you are indeed certified as a Country player. 😂 These Caline pedal demos have been great. Thank you, Shane! 👏
Hey Shane, another great one from Caline! I really had to play around with my compressor pedal a lot before I got it to where it is useful. It took me several months until I finally found the sweet spot. Great vid of a great product!!!
Hi, Thanks for the review. I just bought one on Amazon for $40. Couldn't pass it up. I'll write and let you know my opinion after it gets here. Merry Christmas! Shalom/gw (From SW Pennsylvania, U.S.A)
Stick a noise gate on the end of the chain and use the compressor to sustain those screaming solo notes and your golden mate… rub the string on the fret and you’ll have sustains for days
Love your channel..I would spend a few more dollars and get a compressor with a blend/mix knob…blend/mix has changed the love/hate relationship of guitarist and compressors
nothing to do with this video. but i have a question on the best practice setup to play my guitars through my amps with headphones while hearing track through headphones. i'm doing this with headphones over headphones and it is not working well, what is the best setup for this without spending a million dollars?
No matter how many videos I watch on compression, I just can't wrap my head around their true purpose. If I want boost, I will use a boost pedal. If I want more grit, I'll adjust the tube screamer. If I want more sustain, I make amp adjustments. I am NOT saying they are a redundant pedal. I'm saying I'm a rookie that doesn't understand yet.
I never saw them as being very valuable until I realized how much it helped with hybrid picking. I always lose volume with fingers but everything is much more balanced with a compressor. Just one use.
it normalizes the sound. the loud parts get squished while the quiet parts are boosted. using a compressor will kill dynamics. bad for live good for studio i suppose.

Hi Shane, love your videos mate! Is this pedal noisy? Thank you kindly! 😊

Hi Shane. Great video. Unrelated question - what is the clip on lav mic you currently use? Thanks.

Still learning how best to use a compression pedal but I do like those funk rhythm tones you got!!!
Another great one ...thanks mate... enjoying the jam track !!!
...but can you spray paint your old Holden with it. Not that kind of compressor? OK. Sorry. Carry on.....
HAH! I have BOTH!
Man that pedal range all sound great!
100%. I am going to put them on a board and try them live early next year. They really sound great.
What is the difference with a MXR Dynpacomp?
Spankilicious! Buon Natale!
I kinda wish I had bought this instead of the used Boss compressor I bought last month.

Don’t you hate doing compressor commercials? Definitely the most challenging of all the promo videos😂

DAYS I tell you... days...
It's been four days now.... Legend says he's still screaming...

Not exactly sure what you mean, but.. a mixer? Kinda new to this guitar thing.
That's a great neck tone you get from the Kiesel !
Thanks. Those pickups sound fantastic. :)
Could you use this with a bass?
yep, it'll work for Bass as well.
Love the channel! Watch every video.
Kansas City here I come!

The graphics kill these pedals looks childish And cheap like a burger King kids meal toy
It's funny because there's a lot of comments on the others in the range complimenting the graphics. It's all subjective stuff. :)
@intheblues rightio. I just don't like it it's hard because they sound decent good actually price is solid
Love the graphics on this pedal
What do you think of caline pedals in general
Is the green mamba better than the osmium
