Regarding the opener itself, here's a summary from The Balance: - Comparable damage between openers - Recommended to use this opener if boss is not in melee range at start of fight (For a more detailed explanation, please visit The Balance!) At the end of the day, the only thing that is different is the Opener. The core gameplay is still the same, though the order that you push your buttons will vary slightly.
Hmm you should check fflogs for this, as I don’t play dragoon in endgame content. And I don’t look at DPS meters anyway since it’s not very helpful information during pulls. I suggest plugging your logs into xivanalysis and checking your rotation instead!
I hate new dragoon so much. It killed any motivation I had to play the game and I'm just not going back to FFXIV. Such a shame when I've been playing for 9 years and it used to be my #1 favorite game.

What are your numbers when doing savage raids or ex3? Im trying to gauge where the dps should be at i730

What’s wrong with it now? I haven’t played since lvl70 cap.
