Ahoy my friends! Today I'll be taking on the First Soldier Chapter 7 Boss - Buno D'rhad! This boss isn't quite as bad as the Gallonbaloir Acana fight, but like all things, it will depend on what you have going into this. Glenn is going to be very useful with his LB Draw weapon/costume, along with Sephiroth with Edged Wings (Lucia can sub with Bald Eagle/Blizzara Blow) but that being said, let's get into the guide and get you guys cleared! I wonder they add New characters like Cissnei, Angeal, Genesis etc. Just like April fools Reeve reveal in the game. Like first exemple (Cissnei will be playable in-game)
Unfortunately I missed Glenn’s LB banner and it’s making the fight way harder since I can’t do proper damage to the 2nd hand… maybe I will have to hope for a new water/earth banner for the First Soldier trio 😫
I've now noticed I seem to survive pretty well but at a certain point he will do requiem no matter if the hands are dead and it will do massive (30 to 40k) damage
@@BodhiJMSRyder Not evenGot an okay mdef plus the mdef up from matt. It almost seems like the devs wanted people to defeat it before that point as it does normal damage before that point.
it's not to come against you, but the gallonbaloir arcana, that was difficult, this was really nonsense, I used Glenn with the basic 5 star limited weapon, and Sephiroth using only the maths, and I did it on the first attempt😂so much so that I then wanted to do it again using Lucia as a dps, really easy this time, despite taking away from the main boss like 3/5/7 k hp at a time,and without using healing esuse darkness or silence (silence can be super useful for shiva ex2, you can use it right before it casts silence and then use mdef up😉)
@@BodhiJMSRyder maybe,I say it's easy because, FOR ME, compared to other extra bosses it was really easy to beat, despite having ugly weapons and not doing damage ahaah
However, he should always do the same attack from when he regenerates for the 2 time his arms, but the attack will always be stronger, so basically when he starts doing it the second time in a row it becomes a DPS run
I went with Matt (Prime Number/Core Defender), Glenn (Ultimatic, Pumpkin Lampost), and Sephiroth (Protectors Blade, Aonibi) and just slotted one materia of each elemental weakness for each hand on each character. Used there quickest limit breaks for the hands except for matt used shivas limit break on him. And just hit everything else hard for non elemental damage. And triangle sigil on everyone
I did it once with recommended and lost. They overly used silence cure. the second time I hit recommend with no silence cure,but then took off the heal on all,then but on damage. Cleared.
They just announced in the livestream that they are reducing the difficulty of story bosses! So you should be able to clear it np once they implement that!
I hope so. I'm getting my butt handed to me, even though i'm like 50k above the recommended power. The recommended power they list is complete bullcrap.
This was such a cool Boss fight, really excited for the next season of First Solider. I do hope we get more Crisis Core story updates before it though lol.
good guide, agree with the other commenter though that it might be best to use summons for the hands. one of ifrit/shiva/ramuh on one hand, and leviathan for the other hand. i still don’t have a 5* core defender so it was a rare opportunity to use my OB10 hardcore squad.
Like, its what you needed in this battle right? You can have a Lamborghini but put it on the dirt and it gets smoked by a simple Evo. As a carpenter, or i was for years, there are some tools that will always be insane, like state of the art impact guns, but it doesnt replace a hammer for punching in a nail. All things have their place my friend 🙏🏽😁

Personally I swap ice breach and cura on Matt for silence and darkness heal. Save my LB/ult to kill the hands.

At the very end of chapter 8 i think they revealed what could be a new character to come, but i would love for Cissnei to join the ranks!!

Thats what i was figuring that the attacks start getting stronger and faster 💯

@@mistydolphin2524 Yeah, I was about 100k above it. I did finally manage to beat it. I focused Matt on healing/buffing and Lucia and Glenn on damage.
