Hi, eBay. 6:10 You describe the item description as key information that the buyer wants to see. But a major problem for buyers as well as sellers is that on any listing there are two rows of Promoted listings separating the title/photos from the description. I am very much in support of Promoted listings, but it would be better for everyone if they were either at the very top or the very bottom, but not in the middle. Having them in the middle is bad for buyers because they can have difficulty finding all the information relevant to that particular listing. It is also bad for sellers because they get buyers who, after receiving an item, say there was something not described but in fact the information was just swamped by other visuals. This in turn enforces the negative aspect for the buyer. Please have all the information together because then the description ,and everything else about the listing, would be much clearer.

I remember when it was all about just simply adding the correct info in your title and having good images of your product and everyone had equal exposure opportunities, but now you are forced to promote your listing at 10%+ or you will just not exist. I've just closed my ebay store after 9 years due to ebays ever changing greedy tactics.

Yeah, I'm just not getting the exposure from my listing's. It's a con. They offer discount off listing fees, but you have to pay an extra 10.8% to make them visible. It's a disgrace.

Thank you for your comment. In relation to creating a title you are best to just state exactly what the item is, you just want to stick to the main keywords. If you want to include this is a UK only item, you can place this in the description of the listing. If your item is located in the UK this will be picked up on in the search as the search is able to filter out the location of where an item is based.

I did absolutely everything what you were talking about. My shop was doing very well. Then, suddenly you just stop showing my listing! With no reason at all. I am top seller, 99,9% good feedback, 0% cases, AND IM PAYING EBAY FOR PROMOTION ON 100% OF MY LISTING. I have same or better prices then my competitors, same promotions, same delivery costs. They are still there- my listing disappeared! From Monday to Tuesday, in the ebay search from 40-50 my listing in first 200 ebay hidden me and now I have 1-2 listing there! My sale went down 90%. My monthly visibility went in one month from 5.5 mln to 2mln. I contacted ebay, after 2h chat-you doing everything really good. We dont know what has happened and why you disappeared! How it is possible? Why do you treat sellers like this?

Yeah, think I'm going to do the same. Overseas sellers just aren't getting the visibility of my listing's. It's a joke.

Be interested to know how the word "UK" (in capitals) will perform in a title search? Should it be inputted as "Uk" ?
