Probably because in some fighting game the characters not fight at tournament in story like Street Fighter and Tekken so they fighting without rules for example Blazblue and Marvel vs Capcom which just fight everywhere.
Imagine if we could have Botan's laught when she saw her lvl 2 when we do it in the game... Shooting a gatling from a helicopter with that laught would be pretty funny

i hated fighting botan in the arcade, the air is her terrain so it's dangerous to attack from above, she has guns so it's dangerous to be far from her and if you get close she either grabs you or granade

I dont care how salty i sound. As long as botan exists i will never respect this game as competitive. Theres no such thing as being "good" at a game with botan in it. Idol Showdown is the exact same thing as mario party until botan is removed.
