I have a 2016 BS-III Duet which was predecessor of destini 125. For this BS-IV scooter, the owner must get the carb tuned from a decent mechanic. Mine was giving about 40-42kmpl and then after carb tuning it started giving 45-50kmpl. I have traveled more than 300km in a day on mine and got good mileage throughout the ride.
I can see the switch-gear and plastics are still crap. Hero's spare quality has gone down a lot as compared to Honda. On my scooter in 2nd year itself all plastics started vibrating and I had to add a bunch of rubber tube pieces to dampen vibes. Of course the BS-III engine is very vibey, can't help there.
For me my next purchase is going to be TVS or Suzuki.
