Meg, Lauren, Mike, Dennis, and Johnny go on a trip for International Female Ride Day! Our motovlog follows Meg and Cameraman's life on two wheels. We do everything from basic installs, to bike weeks, to touring, to test rides, to riding the greatest roads in America. We look for Big Foot along the way. Our attitude is to make the most out of every moment right now and do everything we are passionate about because tomorrow is never promised. Meg rides a Harley Davidson Low Rider S. Cameraman (Michael- and no he doesn't mind the nickname) rides a Harley Davidson Breakout. We grew up in Westminster, Maryland and continue to live in Maryland in our adult lives. We frequently rides the roads on Carrol County, Frederick County, and Howard County Maryland. We also sell calendars and other channel related merch.
Cameraman and Meg own a car wash company together. Camerman has been in the car wash industry for over a decade. Meg is also an attorney who owns her own law firm.

My girlfriend at the time and I took our first ever Moto trip to Skyline Dr back in 1978 on my Yamaha 750 Special. We were total noobs. We camped on the Skyline and woke up to heavy rain. We made it to Blacksburg and got a motel. The weather Chanel said the whole area was going to be socked in with rain for the next week. We ‘were’ headed to BRPKY to Cherokee etc. I had AAA Trip Tickets and lodging books. We made a decision to leave the maps in the room and head to Sturgis. I bought an Interstate Map and we took off for Sturgis and made it from Blacksburg in 2-1/2 days. Camped in City Park Sturgis with all the 1% clubs. My first ever Moto camping trip ever. We learned a lot, and now at 72, I’m still doing it, but not as far or as frequent.

Love the fact its water cooled has bags just needs a clip on windshield for those long rides.
High speed took a little getting use to. A bigger wind shield would help.

Was on a ride with a buddy on skyline a few years ago … we had to stop and allow a black bear to cross in front of us. Crazy encounter but not uncommon

I love everything about the new sportys but how the new revo engines sound, just no help for them in that dept. Thats why I passed on gettin a new one and went for the next best thing, got a older XR1200. Actually went back up to Md to get it, got to stay with family, eat a few crab cakes and haul the new to me bike back down here to se ky. I'll be back up around July 4th, hope ya'll have some kind of a group ride, i'll show up for sure. Those are the red leather pants/white half shirt that got me started on your channel too lol Enjoyed the vid and stay safe ya'll.

How is the suspension on Non-smooth roads ?? Especially, the rear travel ??

One thing I've learned the hard way about fire towers, is 'call' up first. Some fire watchers want company. Others don't. You shouldn't ever climb up one without asking permission first.

Enjoying your channel, I still remember when my mom bought a bigger tank for her 883 Sportster so that she could ride from Columbus, Ohio to Sturgis and back . When she got back to Columbus ,she went to AD Farrow and bought a blue Heritage Softail Custom. She had leather saddle bags that said Bitch and when my friend saw it he looked at me and said You really are a son of a bitch. LOL That same friend later on bought a red screaming eagle V Rod. My moms husband rode a green Road King and they both spent time riding in New Mexico, Arizona, and Tennessee.

If I had camera mans bad ass bike and was thinking on trading it on a 23 breakout, consider a motor swap to a sns t124 twin cam...that thing is a beast!....love your channel and what you guys do....

I was wondering what brand of riding pants Lauren is wearing in the video. They really look good on her and I was hoping find a pair for my wife. Lauren has a very similar build to my wife and it's hard to find her nice fitting gear.

I like the bike you are testing.
You do look “hunched over” while riding, and totally agree you need a set of bars like you have on your current bike.
I really think you need to consider those Hard/Soft Bags that are currently on the test bike, for your own bike.
As much traveling as you guys do, just put them on; and travel in comfort.
The Hard/Soft Bag look is very nice. It makes the bike complete, as Soft Leather Bags look tired, saggy and worn over time.

Yes, a little hunched over bars would help. I’m in the process of putting bags on my low rider. Small hick up with the pipes but we found a way around them.

Hey Meg, it's Dave Loved the video. Have already made plans for OC bike week. I am just about ready to give up my scooter and get a Harley after I save up a good down payment although being retired it will probably be a used one. Talked with Dina and she suggested a slim, fatboy lo, softail standard, street bob, or a loanders. Drive safe.

Looking at Meg's ergos while she rides the bike, I notice how forward she is leaning. Almost a sport bike-type lean. If she ended up buying the bike, she would benefit from handlebar risers to reduce the lean.
Absolutely some bars and maybe a riser. I have tiny arms.
