Great video and you really show how close to shore those cohos will get. I typically will run that close on both Lake Michigan and sothern Lake Huron with small crank baits in early spring. Those guys getting close to you in the boats were rude for sure!

Thank you for posting this video, it’s awesome. My question for you is it looks like you’re just sitting stagnant and not actually paddling with your feet. Do you have a trolling motor on that is moving through the water are you really just stagnant?
If it didn’t appear as if I was moving I may have been spot locked in that position with the integrated trolling motor in my kayak.

How far back are you running?
It really varies to be honest but if I had to give a range I'd say 15-55' back typically.

Small cranks. Most guys run bigger cranks and I downsize and got way more fish.
