Maggie Rogers is a breath of fresh air!!! Finally! A musician who has amazing lyrics and isn't afraid of being herself. She is definitely on my list of musicians to keep an eye on for new album releases.

This song is one of those songs that I never get tired of listening to, it is somewhat addictive to me.
I really like that she's still rocking Mom jeans and whatever she feels comfortable in, while baring all the rest of herself to the world. And I'm fairly certain that if we grew up in the same town or ended up in the same place, we could share a piano bench and write something amazing together. She's an inspiration for all of us, regardless of when we started paying attention.
I'm a simple guy. I see a Maggie Rogers video, I'll replay it endlessly 24/7.

This song hits me so hard right now because I meant someone I connected with pretty fast and this is what I literally said, "take me to that place you always go" and she didn't know it was from this song so I just kept referencing the lyrics while on that mountain top and we looked out on the view. Funny thing is it's a place I love to go as well for the mountains. The chemistry is fire. All I know is even if this doesn't go anywhere or last, I can't tell how much it meant for her to give us that intimate moment. What a beautiful day it was. Makes me very emotional typing this as it was recent.

1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 1/4 teaspoons white sugar
1 egg
1 cup milk
1/2 tablespoon butter, melted
1/2 cup frozen blueberries, thawed
1. In a large bowl, sift together flour, salt, baking powder and sugar. In a small bowl, beat together egg and milk. Stir milk and egg into flour mixture. Mix in the butter and fold in the blueberries. Set aside for 1 hour.A
2. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot.
