I never would have thought of using stringing wire with memory wire !! Can't wait to try and think it would make a great item in a booth at craft shows to sell. Love these and thank you Candie Cooper so much for showing them. You always have such great ideas and love watching and learning with you ! 😊
So cool!! I've never seen stringing wire with memory wire before. And I LUV it!! 😍 Can't wait to give it a try. Thx ladies for sharing! 💜ARTBEADS ROCKS💜
Great ideas for memory wire...I stopped using it because I kind of run out of new ideas for it.. but you spiced it up and inspired me to want to work with it again. THANK YOU so much!
Really pretty color combos. I never thought to roll the ends twice, for that split ring look. Great idea! TFS! I just thought, en lieu of seed beads, I have a loads of tiny gemstone chips with which I could do this technique. Oh, you've go my wheels spinning now.
Thank you both for a wonderful project. I can't wait to get working on the bracelet. I have so many beads in my bead stash that I can use. Peace to you both and keep the good projects coming. ;-)
love your vids & your products, the quality of the products and the packaging of your products. My NYC beading group & instructor individually order from you regularly. getting a package from your company is like continuously getting a great birthday present. thx Artbeads!!!!
Very pretty! The seed bead embellishment is a tech. I've not seen before on the mem. wire bracelet/cuff. I too prefer a dangle at the end of the wire instead of gluing on an end cap o leaving the loop naked. I have a pair of those Memory Wire Shears and, gosh, am I happy I do. No way I'd use my Lindstrom cutters on memory wire. They'd be ruined! Tool for every job, and the Memory Wire Shears do the job very well. Candy, did you add the bead and flower embellishment to your sweater. So pretty too.
Hi there! Candie is mainly working with 6/0 seed beads and size 6mm Swarovski bicones. You can find a supplies list for one of the bracelets made here: www.artbeads.com/design-studio/plume-peacock-memory-wire-bracelet-candie-cooper/
Hi there. It depends on what kinds of beads you use. To get an idea, you can check out the shopping list for the bracelet Candie makes here: www.artbeads.com/design-studio/plume-peacock-memory-wire-bracelet-candie-cooper/
Hello ladies, I love your work. Where would I purchase pretty focal beads. I currently use Michael s, and stores like that plus maybe WalMarts. But I do not see large focal beads? Also do you have a place where you recommend large bulk of beads in the same color, in order to make lets say a long necklace for instance... Thanks for your help and support..
Hi there. We sell large focal beads (and other great jewelry-making supplies) on our website, Artbeads.com. Take a look at our focal beads here: www.artbeads.com/beads/focal-beads/ We sell some of our beads by the strand or in packs, so you have enough for long necklaces. If beads are sold individually, we also offer volume pricing on some of our items. I hope this is helpful. Happy shopping!
Hi Alba. Memory wire would probably be too stiff to work around the jig and its pegs. Memory wire does already come formed in bracelet, necklace, and ring sizes, though. I hope this helps! - Becky
Hi there. You can add seed beads and lay it against the outer edge of the bead until you feel you have a good fit. We also have an exact count of beads in our step-by-step instructions here: www.artbeads.com/design-studio/plume-peacock-memory-wire-bracelet-candie-cooper/
Great tutorial. Best memory bracelet I’ve ever seen. Thanks.
