One positive about 2024: you found your "home" in Creede. I don't know if you would have found that if you hadn't pushed yourself to travel. No pain, no gain as they say ♥
Absolutely! There were lots of positives in 2024, although the challenges often overshadowed the good and happy times. I'm pretty much counting down the days till I head back to Creede.
LOVED the opening sequence of Wynston howling!❤ I'll bet he heard some coyotes up in the hills and felt the need to commune with those distant relatives. We humans could benefit from a good, long howl sometimes, I think. I'm only a sometimes viewer, as I tend to graze around TH-cam, sort of randomly, but I was aware of Wynston's health challenges this year, and the emotional toll that took on you (not to mention the financial...yikes!) But any boy that can let out some robust howls like that it doing pretty well, especially at his age! Btw....that amount of weight loss you managed is amazing! Go, YOU! Yes, learning years are hard, but often do more for you than formal schooling, so enjoy your chill and more confident 2025. Glad you found the place you love the most. Now, go there and BLOOM! 🎉🎉🎉

Think we all have had a hard year. My best friend passed away, mybson with my 5 grandchildren hasn't talked with me for over a year, my other son was laid off in October with having worked for Verizon for 25 years. He and 5,000 other Verizon were laid off because they have sent workboverseas because it's cheaper for company. Having several surgeries. 2025 hopefully will be for everyone. So for example...you set a goal of losing weight along with the word "determination." Then maybe if you get tempted at some point to go off plan, instead of giving yourself a lecture about losing weight, you can just repeat the word "determination" if needed to reinforce or trigger a reminder of the original goal? Looking forward to the words for 2025!
Yes! I write down the words, then any goals or ideas that may be associated with each word. If I feel myself going off track in life somehow, I bring myself back to those words as a reminder. ❤️

For me, this year, it's been more about world events and the condition of our country that has caused stress. I pray we don't go into World War 3. God has a plan, and I'm putting my faith in him. This just comes off as your begging for money and to mention $3,000 dollars as if anyone needs to know that information. As an adult you should know how much you can spend when you’re out eating or drinking. Please keep the begging on the down low and enjoy life.
Your point of view is extremely unfortunate. I picked up some temporary work to replenish my savings. I'm being honest about where I am because that's how life goes. If you saw this as begging, I encourage you to look in the mirror and ask yourself why you're thinking that way.

Your point of view is extremely unfortunate. I picked up some temporary work to replenish my savings. I'm being honest about where I am because that's how life goes. If you saw this as begging, I encourage you to look in the mirror and ask yourself why you're thinking that way.
