Paula, I want to start making dresses 👗 as well. You really are inspiring me. Also, I now LOVE 💕 DPNs! I can’t believe I never tried them. So much better and faster! Wow 🤩 🎉🎉 I really love that black top soooo beautiful 😻. You and your hubby are hilarious!! 😂 so glad he has a good sense of humor. 😂
Only recently found you Paula, you are a complete Joy to watch and listen to. I too am a magraine sufferer, I've just spent 3 days with one, the pain is unbearable and vomiting as well. I'm 71 next week and I've had them all my life. So I'm catching up with all you video's. Your a ray of sunshine in these troubled times. Bless you x
I think you look great in a hat , now I really look awful . Wish I could wear one as I’m older it would be lovely and warm. Love that yarn... it’s beautiful, socks will be lovely.
Another masterpiece Paula. Loved your dress. Doug is such a lovely cat. Rather like my Mollie. She was a rescue living rough down my husband’s scaffolding yard and when she first came home she sat on me the whole time but as soon as she felt at home she only sits on me when I am quite ill. I love her dearly. I am adding Saturday at 6.00 as an alert on my calendar as I desperately want to adopt a panda. She will sit on my mantelpiece and make friends with the rabbits. Love the bags too. I’m making a cowl too. Doing the Zeens & Roger Claudia Cowl. Your James is a brilliant hairdresser! All stay safe. Lesley x
I have fround you!!! I am binge watching all your videos in July 2021!!! I laughed so hard at the "bib bob nib nob halloween cake story......you are hilarious.
Hello Paula, thank you for another wonderful video and what a treat to get a whole hour! Your cat and dog project bag is so fun and the after-bath socks will be so cosy. Doug made me laugh, he is such a sweet boy. I love seeing all that you make, you are so talented. I look forward to your videos very much. Thank you so much and take care.💕💕💕
Oh watching you is such a treat you truly cheer me up! Gorgeous Doug he is your perfect podcast assistant 😊 The selfish socks are so pretty. Yay for Vlogmas can't wait hope we will see lots of all the lovely furry members of your family xx
I loved this video! I subscribed quite a while ago but I am busy cooking and bingeing on your videos. You are unique witty and very talented. I think lovely James and co are lucky to have you. Xc
Oh Paula you had me in tears again laughing so hard. I was so excited today when your video popped up. My poor daughter, when I am watching you gets about 10 phones calls from me laughing and telling her the next funny thing you said. Seriously though I loved all of your things and the black sweater is gorgeous. Everything about it is so pretty and you are right that is a perfect neckline. Oh and tell hubby he did a great job on your hair. Thanks again for making such a great video and congrats on a thousand subscribers!!!
I so look forward to sitting down to hear all your news. Your hair is fab, James did a good job. I think Doug thinks you are talking to him and him alone. He looks up at you so adoringly. My rescued feral cat just looks at me with disdain. Glad your migraine has gone, they can last for days and unless you have suffered with them you cannot really comprehend the pain.
What a treat to see you back with a lovely long chat. You’ve cheered me up and explode with laughter - he’s staring at me and the cake 🤣 Glad you’re feeling better, how rubbish for you. Following your tips I made a pair of Drippity Drop socks - so pleased with them! Couldn’t find those Hiya Hiya dpns anywhere but found some vintage ones in my needle stash. Can’t wait for vlogmas 👏
What a funny prank you played on your hubbie - twice - the pizza order and the post office ( sort of ) He has done a marvellous job on the hair cut , secret hair stylist perhaps ? Second career maybe 😂thank you for a very enjoyable hour 💕

I'm with you all the way on Naive Watercolour and being a Bakery Bears Patreon. Your Whitmore is gorgeous. So excited you are doing Vlogmas too! Thanks for a lovely cheery hour. xx
Hi Paula. What a lovely chat. Beautiful makes. Your whitmoor fits so perfectly and I loved your new cowl. So pretty. I did laugh with you and your husband playing tricks. We have a surname we always have to spell and one day when booking a table in a Chinese restaurant we called ourselves mr and Mrs monkfish! When we turned up we had to say that’s who we were with a straight face. I was wetting myself with laughter 🤣. Can’t wait for your vlogmas 👍
How absolutely fabulous to have you come visit on my birthday Thankyou hunny you have just made my day. Also sharing my day it is always a must “Lest we Forget”
I was so excited to see a new episode from you, Paula!! You are such a pleasure to watch! Welcome to being a Bakery Bears patron! I've been one for a few years now and it's brilliant!! Also, thank you for inspiring me today....you were chatting about some yarn that you had knit with and how much you enjoyed all the little colour changes and then you showed your Raindrops On Roses coal and I instantly knew that I have to knit that coal with a very precious skein of yarn , dyed by Kay Jones herself!!! It's her gorgeous Figgy Pudding colourway and I have been saving it for something special! 😊 Your hair looks great and I loved how Doug was paying very close attention to what you were chatting about 😉 I look forward to your next video! Take care ❤
Hi lovely lady..I just love to see an episode from you pop up. James has done a brilliant job with your hair..well done James 😀 love, love your makes as usual. Aww I always so enjoy your podcasts Paula! As dear old Bruce Forsyth would have said, "You're my favourite!" I'm glad your migraine eased, they are horrible! I'm just about to start knitting my first Whitmoor Sweater, and I can't wait! Xx
What a treat finding your videos I’ve watched two in one evening now can’t wait to catch up on the rest 👍.... your one talented lady ! Must be because your birthday is 1st December same as mine 😉
Douglas is adorable & loves you to bits & I’m not a cat person he is like Norma with Kate at ( the last homely house ) There’s another great podcaster if you like quilts then watch Kate

I don’t know how or why this came up on my recommended but I glad I found you! Just subscribed. You have a lovely voice and I loved how you interacted with Doug. I have a 5 year old cat called Blue (she’s half Russian Blue) and I could relate when you were talking about your rescue cat sitting with you. Blue likes to sit with us, but has only just started sitting on me and we’ve had her since she was a kitten! You have inspired me to pickup my needles again and look at my immense stash (I’ve been knitting for 40 years!). Just subscribed 😀
@@stitchedbymrsd6754 Not sure yet, I have a huge library of patterns on Ravelry I would like to work through and I have a WIP which is a wrap/cardio from Rowan using kid silk haze, I’ve done the back and 2 fronts, but can’t remember which size I did it in so haven’t done the sleeves🤣. I’ve loads of lovely beaded silk from Tilli Thomas that I bought when I went to New York years ago that I should use up and loads of lovely hand died yarns I have bought over the years. Looking forward to seeing your fluffy pink bears your hair looks really nice. What a real treat if you do vlogmas love all your makes especially the bear's 🐶
Hi Paula you did make me laugh with your Colli Wobblies ,in Australia we have the Colli Wobblies but they are a little different . We have a football team in the AFL called Collingwood they are a very strong team but they alway seam to fall apart in the finals and never win . So it is said they have the cook wobbles ,a bad case of the nerves. I always thought that his word was an Australian slang word ,so know I understand were it came from. Love your pandas and podcast .Sharon xx
Another lovely catch up while I knit (while I’m supposed to be working 😉) I really enjoy watching your videos Paula. I was so thrilled when I ordered one of your beautiful floral baskets on Etsy and even more thrill when it got here so quickly and was even prettier than I had expected. It’s going to be perfect in my yarn room (my hubby hid it though and told me it’s a Christmas present...I did say it was a gift to myself when I ordered it). James did a great job on your hair! 💕😊
Darling Paula Nina might be in a bad mood because Nancy and Nellie won't let her play...just a thought. You might need to keep an eye on them. Can't wait for your vlogmas. Love and hugs from NZ💞
Oh, i just love the way your cat looks adoringly at you. Your socks are all so pretty, and I must admit the yarn is beautiful that you kept. Have a great week xx
I have been given a load of baby clothes as I have reborn dolls and those that know (it’s my dirty secret) lol, give me baby clothes and amongst the latest clothes are older babies and toddler clothes including a soft white fur coat and a couple of sheep fur wool type snow suits, I thought these would be lovely as teddies and sheep so that’s what I am going to do, after I have finished the dress that I am struggling with lol. I love Doug, but he is so in love with you that I don’t stand a chance.!
Just seen your Russian doll tattoo. My makers tag is a red russian doll so we have a connection right there. Lovely to hear your Norfolk accent, am in Swaffham myself. Great chatty podcast ☺️
Always can’t wait for your videos! Can’t wait for the next one! Halloween story cracked me up! I suffer from migraines also. I just had one from Sat-Tues. They are terrible. For some reason the dark yarn reminds me if Harry Potter.
Oh Paula , so good to see you. Helloooo , Doug. He is so sweet. He adores you. Your Whitmoor is lovely, kudos to you for doing it in black. Black knitting makes my eyes go buggy. It looks so cute on you and I think you could well leave the sleeves short. I am so looking forward to your Vlogmas. I looked back on your Instagram photos and I saw your home at Christmas time. I am going to love seeing your home decorated again. I feel for you with those migraines. My youngest Son gets those and they are just debilitating. Here’s hoping you never get another one. Thank you for another wonderful, entertaining vlog. I love the long episodes - gives me a good long knit session. Julie from Indiana , USA X
Hello Julie, thanks for the lovely message. The black knitting is hard work but I hope it will be worth it. I think im going to put my decorations up a bit earlier this year! Xx
Lovely podcast again. Sorry to hear that you suffer from migraines as I have had them since I was a teenager. Love all the socks. They are my favourite things to knit. Take care x
Hi I love your podcast ,so much so that I've watched this one twice,I had surgery on Tuesday and fell asleep the first time. I love your little pandas ,there my favourite animal.cant wait to see what your going to show us during vlogmas. Bye have a happy birthday ,my birthday is also in December suspect
Aw Paula, so sad to hear about your migraines. My brother had them but he saw a lady who said that they are caused by a sensitivity to chocolate and coffee, so I hope that's not what's wrong with you, and your live of coffee. I'm not sure what that lady used to diagnose that - I think it was a pendulum, but he gave up coffee and chocolate and he hasn't had a migraine since. Love your style. Need some chatty woolly talk right now. Xxx
I have to say it's the opposite for me and I suffer if I don't maintain my caffeine levels! I never had one until about 4 years ago, the bad ones are infrequent thank goodness x
💐 I really enjoy your visits! I’m presently two thirds finished with a granny square Afghan inspired by the one you were showing in your January video. I admire so much the beautiful sweaters you knit! I only can knit plain blankets. I don’t have the patience to do patterns because it involves counting and I knit for mental therapy to relax. I do wonder how you learned to knit so beautifully! Could you maybe talk about that? Also, could you show how you knit those fascinating bear sweaters? I guess you call them jumpers in the UK! I realize that real knitters would know how to knit them, but I would love it if you could just briefly show us! Please show more of your how you cook and clean. I’m sure that we homebody’s would enjoy that! 😊❤️👠💄👛👍👏
I was so pleased to see your video pop up, you cheer me up and make me chuckle. I’m excited for Vlogmas. Hopefully I will be able to adopt a winter bear 🤞. Keep up the good work x x
You are such a beautiful lady inside and our and you make me chuckle so much hopefully at some point I can become a muma to a bear to x love love love your podcasts xxx
Hi, the yarn is Doug’s colouring! I’m following Doxiemom19 with Cubbie a baby panda and his mom Mei on you tube. They remind me of your bears! You and your family might enjoy it too. Cheers, 🇨🇦

Hi Paula. You have quite a few nice mugs. I just love the shape which some are like the lemon one. Where do they come from please. Thank you Sharon. I’m currently working my way though you old podcasts. So they must be good!
Absolutely love Doug!!! Thanks for a lovely vlog. If I am going to try knitting socks for the first time is there any pattern you would recommend???I'm a beginner knitter😀

Oh yes that will be lovely! Keep trying with the dress, it's only a fabric jigsaw xx
I will be setting an alarm to get to your shop so I can adopt a Winter bear! Lovely vlog again🙂
Tina from Simply in stitches sent me over. I'm from the US and I just subscribed to your channel. I'm looking forward to watching your videos.
Thank you! Xx
Just seen your Russian doll tattoo. My makers tag is a red russian doll so we have a connection right there. Lovely to hear your Norfolk accent, am in Swaffham myself. Great chatty podcast ☺️
Oh that's lovely! Thanks for the message. I like the waitrose in Swaffham, I used to stop for a cake in the cafe whenever I passed xx
Always can’t wait for your videos! Can’t wait for the next one! Halloween story cracked me up! I suffer from migraines also. I just had one from Sat-Tues. They are terrible. For some reason the dark yarn reminds me if Harry Potter.
Me too!! Sort of a hagrid kind of colour! Do you have any medication for your migraines? I do but I threw it up 😂😂
@@stitchedbymrsd6754 yes, I have 2 different medicines. I hate taking them both but usually have to alternate them.
Take care x
My migraines only started a couple of years ago. You cant explain to people how ill they make you feel. I hope yours are infrequent xx
@@stitchedbymrsd6754 I know, lots of people just say it's a headache! Mine are not so bad now I have medication x
December birthdays are the best! It's good getting all the good stuff at once isn't it?!
Iv just found your podcast and I love them
Aw Paula, so sad to hear about your migraines.
@@stitchedbymrsd6754 oh well, we are all different. Hope you don't have another for a very, very long time xxx
OK if I'm stuck for things to talk about through Vlogmas I will. The Teddy bear jumpers are a bit of a secret recipe though ❤️ xx
Lovely episode as always Paula. I’m so pleased you’ve decided to do VLOGMAS, I’ll look forward to spending December with you. Xxxx
Ah thank you Jeanette xx 😘😘😘
I was so pleased to see your video pop up, you cheer me up and make me chuckle. I’m excited for Vlogmas.
Hopefully I will be able to adopt a winter bear 🤞. Keep up the good work x x
I'm worried my Vlogmas might be a bit boring, I don't get up to much 😂
You won’t be boring just normal. You will be just fine x
I so want a winter bear, all your bears are sooooo cute. The 29 November is my birthday so hopefully I won’t forget the update!!!! Xxxx
Thank you Susan! I'm sure you'll manage to get one xx
You are such a beautiful lady inside and our and you make me chuckle so much hopefully at some point I can become a muma to a bear to x love love love your podcasts xxx
Thank you Nicola xx
Hi, the yarn is Doug’s colouring! I’m following Doxiemom19 with Cubbie a baby panda and his mom Mei on you tube. They remind me of your bears! You and your family might enjoy it too. Cheers, 🇨🇦
Well when I knit it up I'll have to call them my Doug socks!! Thank you for pointing that out to me xx

Hi Paula. You have quite a few nice mugs. I just love the shape which some are like the lemon one. Where do they come from please. Thank you Sharon. I’m currently working my way though you old podcasts. So they must be good!
Oh thank you, its from Emma Bridgewater xx
@@stitchedbymrsd6754 thank you Paula
You are so entertaining and talented. I completely relax when I watch your videos. And I love your creations. Where is your shop?
Hello Helen, thank you for the lovely message. There is the link in the description box. I'm having a shop update tomorrow at 6pm gmt xx
Love your knitting, but your husband's comment are they chain mail re the socks made me laugh.
He's a funny old thing!
What does DK mean?
I am all caught up on your lovely podcast. i'd love to take part in the KAL but you cant see our tags when we have private accounts, unfortunately. :(
Hmmm I didn't think of that, I'll have to think of how to make it work. Thank you for mentioning it to me xx
Absolutely love Doug!!!
Thanks for a lovely vlog. If I am going to try knitting socks for the first time is there any pattern you would recommend???I'm a beginner knitter😀
I started knitting socks with Abbey Morris movie marathon socks, might be helpful to try knitting on dpns and magic loop see which you get on with best first x plenty of tutorials on TH-cam for both methods. Xxx
