    • @sammycarter9163
      @sammycarter9163 6 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      What Tray Deee meant was don't try to take the recognition for this gangbanging shit if you never on the front line when it comes to watch time with the enemies. These investors he is talking about don't participate in shit that has to do with gangbanging...they live off the gangs name while participating in other activities besides gangbanging! There are only two type of gang members...gangbangers and claimers. Investors are just claimers.

    • @bust14u21
      @bust14u21 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    • @sammycarter9163
      @sammycarter9163 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't know how true that is or if it is true at all. But one thing I do know is when OG Barefoot Pookie said that, not one single Long Beach Insane Crip stepped up and said the man was lying. So, that statement by OG Barefoot Pookie must be true. Because if someone that is not from your gang or neighborhood comes out of the blue and says he started your gang, if he didn't start it than you and your homies are definitely going to speak up on the untrue statement. So why is it that all Insanes remained silent on OG Barefoot Pookie statement's concerning their gang? Why the hush hush is it True?

    What the OG is describing sounds like exactly what happened (and still happens) with the Mafia. Street guys put in the all the work, take all the risk and rarely get much until either they're made or become a serious earner in their own right. If you're not making money for the family, you're basically irrelevant.

      @sammycarter9163 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is a lie...there never been a person by that name from ICG. There was only one OG Cornbread (R.I.P) in Long Beach and he was from Rollin 20's Crips

    • @on2wheels378
      @on2wheels378 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Ok, I stand corrected. I wasn't a gang member so I didn't know about the different crip gangs in Long Beach. Anyways, he was a good dude to me and we shared smokes.

    • @on2wheels378
      @on2wheels378 6 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I also have to add, being mistaken isn't a lie. I was very young and the few Crips I knew as a kid were good dudes. No matter the opinions of anyone else. On was a guy named Eddie Clay and the Gaither brothers. People were wary (early to mid 80s) of them but they never gave me a side eye or bother.
      I wasn't aware of Cornbread dying. I moved away from the 90806 when I was 18. RIP Cornbread and I gave up smoking when I was 30. If I didn't I would smoke one for you.

    Listening to Tray Deee talk. You can tell that he is nothing to play with. He's the type of guy that is just as comfortable in prison as he is on the streets. A very dangerous person if you cross him. He, Big U and Keefe D are the guys that gangster rappers were rapping about.

    I Think BLVD May have been first Crip set in Long Beach, being a Northside gang on the borderline of Compton ,
    Crippin came from the east, went West,
    Went to Compton, and then went to Long Beach, so North Long Beach would’ve been introduced to Crippin first being a street away from NHCC, SSCC and close to ADCC and KPCC

      What are you slow or something. Nigga he did say 20's started before Insanes. He said Rollin 20's was a hustler gang than later Insanes came out than Rollin followed suit with the Cripping. So he did say Rollin 20's was out before Insanes.

    We the same age, I was mostly around east side longos zoot suits I got pictures of me in the park at night when I was 4-5 being forced to drink and smoke so my little ass passed out...
    The 80s is when shit got real once the dope game came... I remember the first impalas fools got the big house speaker in the back seat...
    A crip killed my younger cousin that didn't bang, he just turned 18 saved his money to buy my older cousin impala he parked after stepping from the gang life, but gang life wasn't done yet, because he was well known a rival rode up on a bike and 12 gauge to the back of the head... Smh
    Paul was his name, you'll see his picture on the bus stops in Long Beach for stop the violence... RIP
