Looking good,Skip. Interesting to see your wheels and hear your opinion of 3d print parts👍😎.Thanks for showing and best wishes from jolly old England 👍😎Pete 🤓
Nice update Skip! Don't you think about it a lot, those bugs hadn't too much power and torque to use such wide wheels. But you did great with the 3d printer. Thanks for sharing, take care and keep up the good work my friend.
Thanks George. Looks like these had gear reduction portals like some of the transporter bus would have, so they probably did ok but not much top speed. I think I read somewhere that they, along with the kubelwagen and schwimmwagen, were geared for first gear so that they could idle along at walking speed of the foot soldiers.
@@skip-o-maticsmodelmania5774 I have a Saturn. I'm still very new to printing. I have a DIFFICULT time getting my prints off of the build plate. Any suggestions???
@@michaelhintzmikesminiature1812 I'm not new to 3d printing, but the resin 3D printing I am new to. I just got my Elegoo a couple months ago. From what I understand your build plate clearance to the screen may need to be tweaked. If it is too close that could be your problem. If it is too much the prints may fall off the plate while printing. I set my clearance with sheets of paper. Elegoo says one sheet, but I set mine with 4 to 5 sheets and that has been working great for my Mars3.
looking good my friend!
Thank you,thank you very much.😎
very cool looking sir
Thanks Eddie.
You're going way down the rabbit hole, 🐰🕳️,, wheels look great Skip
Thanks Tom. If I run into some knights talking backwards in that hole I'll be coming back out pretty quickly.😲

Thanks Rob and I'm starting to get some printing skills, just have to play with it and learn from the mistakes.
The bug is coming along nicely. It's a cool kit. Looking forward to seeing your progress. Thanks for the video 😎👍
Thank you Mike.
You beetle looks terrific. The printed wheels suit it well. Good luck finishing on time. I'm hoping I make it too.
Thanks Vincent. That's the only thing I hate about group builds is finding the time to finish on time.
Very nice Skip, think you'll integrate the North Afrika Korp palm tree 🌴 insignia?
Thanks David. No I don't think so on this one. I do have another one of this kit and plan on it when I do that one.
It is looking really nice. Nice 3D printed add on parts. Good work. Thanks for sharing.
