Chia seeds does the exact same job as psyllium just blend them at home I bought a cheap blender to do mine so that they become like a powder I do quite a large amount and keep it at the yard I give about 2 tablespoons it's brilliant stuff and horses love them, best thing to clean water buckets is just a handful of hay/straw x
My boy comes in at night but during winter he won't be out on field he will be taken out for exercise in sand school and round the roads getting very cold here so has outside coat on then a stable coat at night

I would try not giving him hay In till he eats his food because he well eventually get hungry and eat but I don’t know what’s going on in his head😊
I’m fairly sure psyllium needs to be fed dry otherwise it doesn’t work? I could be wrong but that’s what I’ve always been told
