Honestly, these political ones are by far my least favorite ERBs, which I understand is just my opinion but it's just how I feel. It's partially because I'm personally sick of everything being made political, partially because they get dated very quickly (especially this one since Hillary acts so confident which we now know was all hot air on her part, so it makes her just look really obnoxiously arrogant now), but mostly because they are so blatantly biased towards the left that it just ruins the fun and becomes an annoying, preachy mess. They aren't even trying to pretend it's balanced by the end of this one. Trump is a colossal douchebag, but even he wouldn't shamelessly try to spit out the N-word like that (not saying he isn't racist, because I honestly have no idea what's in the man's heart, but he definitely wouldn't be that blatant about it), and they noticeably made sure to have Lincoln mostly just leave Hillary alone and take her side, while he hammered down on Trump. And it's not just this one, they pulled the same stunt with Romney vs. Obama too. It's clear that they do these for the sake of virtue signaling rather than to actually make something entertaining and informative like they usually do. They really shouldn't try to make the one they hate literally look worse than their version of Hitler, because it hurts the final product and just makes them seem shallow and petty. Truthfully, I think they're above this crap.

You guys know I enjoy a good political conversation, but I'm not really interested in having it in here. That's only because I really love these ERB vids and I enjoy reading you guys' thoughts on who won, who had better digs, better flow, etc. Even though these two are political figure, I'd really rather keep the conversations to the rap battle and not old, rehashed arguments about their political ideologies.

So, I have an issue with this ERB video......but for only two reasons.
1) They only talk to Trump about if his opponent wins "If she does win the White House, be a man and hold the door", but say nothing to Hillary. The funny thing is the "don't get your fans stirred up in some twitter civil war" is EXACTLY what the Dems did after Trump got elected.
2) "It's an equal opportunity set down in the sequel" and then slaps Trump twice. I get that NicePeter and EpicLloyd HATE Trump but seriously.......they could have Lincoln represent the American people who are collectively tired of both parties bullshit.

I remember someone asking someone else "What is the one thing that you hate most about Donald Trump?" The persons response was "Making vote for Hilary Clinton."
Hillary's flow was better. But Trump's lines were more vicious. Lincoln's bit was the best bit.
I definitely agree with the first two parts of this... As far as Lincoln, I thought he had some good moments, but I wasn't as impressed with his jabs as I hoped I would be when he first popped into the scene.

It's allways strange for me as a german to look at your voting system. Can you explain to me why it looks like nobody cares that you have only two relevant party's and your system supports that? I don't wanna be offensive I just really don't understand that there aren't more people who say that they don't like both party's.
@@IchhabezuvielTH-camgegucktO_o Originally there used to be multiple political parties in the USA, but our Presidential election, Senate elections and Representative elections are all or nothing. People win the seats, not political parties. I believe some countries in Europe, they have elections where the political parties win a number of seats based on how many votes they get. The American Founding Fathers didn't want political parties, and the creation of political parties wasn't something they anticipated.
The American Civil War actually started partially because we had multiple parties running for president. The Southern Democrat Party and Northern Democrat Party (two different political parties) together got more votes than the Republican Party. But the Republicans had more either one. If the North and South Democrats had been 1 party, they would've won. Eventually, the only viable political parties became the Democrats and Republicans, because why vote, for example, the Green Party and risking the Republicans winning the election when you can vote Democrat and hopefully beat the Republicans?
Basically, we ended up voting for the party that we hate the least. Most Americans are shortsighted on this. They won't vote for other parties, because it could mean the party they hate the most could win.
On top of this, we also have the electoral college, but that's another can of worms. Hopefully, this is a good explanation.
Our system started with good intentions, but it's not very good. reality.
You need to start pausing videos more to react to lines. You miss about 70% of the puns and disses when you do these.

The beauty of america is democracy. This system allows for checks and balances. The founders 200 years ago anticipated what would happen if someone such as Andrew Johnson, Richard Nixon, Bill Clinton, or the current president would abuse powers or conduct illegal activity while in office. They created a test mode, a check and balance to test and determine how the system is operating. Once again this system is in a test mode, A pressure test as to what is acceptable and what is not. I sincerely hope after the 4th iterations of this check and balance test mode that the system will prevail. This American system of democracy has only been in existence for 1/4th of the time of the Roman empire. Just some food for thought.

Man after three years of cool down, I can see the battle for what it is, and Trump is fucking SAVAGE. In any other battle Hillary would be fucking someone up but Trump is a fucking animal. And I finally feel less insulted when Abe smacks Trump twice. I thought it was an absolute heavy-handed rebuke of Trump and not what it probably was that Abe was too gentlemanly and old fashioned to slap a woman.
I HATED this battle in 2016 because I felt it was weighted too heavily to Hillary. Honestly, I think I would have loved it if Abe had smacked Hillary and Trump once across the isle like with Romney and Trump.
I voted for Trump, but only cause Hillary scared me. Only the Dems have a realistic chance of getting someone in who will reinstitute Glass Stegal, which I'm kind of a single issue wonk on given the crash of 2008. Hillary stood in the way of a candidate who would.
But I blame NO ONE for how they voted in 2016. That was a sadistic choice all around and there were no good viable choices.

Well, ERB are from California and this battle was produced by Disney-owned Maker Studios, so obviously they had to stack this against Trump. I wouldn't hold it against them too much.
