- Ants VS Maggot Very Close Up. Discovered a few maggots by the back door the other day just as the ever ubiquitous Argentine ants(commonly called sugar ants) were catching up with them. Not sure from where the maggots came;all I can figure is that the cat dragged them in. In this video you'll see plenty of "bull riding" and "alligator roll" type action as the ants dig in. At one point the maggot grabs on to one of the ants, rears up and whips it around as if a bull that had hooked into a matador.

Maggots are truely the worse, they look absolutely trippy and gross when they are in a big pile, It scares me so much to look at it, at the point where I wish I could just like pour a cup of ants onto the pile and watch all of them get desimated
Maggots can't hurt you and have a reasonably high nutrition value(not that I'm willing partake). Ants on the other hand are VERY capable, even in relatively small numbers, of killing a human. Even these ultra-tiny Argentine give a little sting when they bite...
