    U need to tell someone at iron lev that their official videos have been set as made for kids. As such the correct audience may not be able to view updates and not to mention we are unable to comment on the videos. I wanted to ask, it looks so straightforward what changed with its invention that broke the rules previously held?

    Two things: 1 - What possible use could this new tech possibly have if 50 lbs is about it's maximum carrying capacity? 2 - This works wonderfully on a perfectly straight track but how will it handle curves? Seems like that could be a major hurdle.

    But the best part of mag lev is no friction. The wheels making contact with the rail kinda defeats that. Can it be redone with no contact?

      If you can keep it up with magnets what would prevent you from also being able to keep it centered?
      This already demonstrates that it will hold the weight of many more magnets. It may take a staggering amount of time before someone tries the right design with the right magnets and fairly certain that we haven’t reached the limits when it comes to creating new magnetic materials and such.

      The friction of wheels depend the weight on them and those wheels do not carry weight, they calibrate the magnets.
      The trouble comes when one the wheels breaks and let the magnet touch the track. Then there is hell of friction.

      the central bar is made of chromed steel, it is not magnetized but it is ferromagnetic

      Still this doesnt look like that, I mean you have magnet atracting another magnet or repeling it, levitation is another mather, this looks like levitation, not like magnets are attracting iron, it rather looks like they are making iron levitating at certain distance from iron.
      Is there somwhere more information about ironLev?

    hello, one question. but if you use one of these in intermediate version (d20) in size xl I have seen that it can support 100 kg in x and y. so if you attach it to a saddle and the bar attach it to a bicycle you have created a bicycle that is pushed without the weight of the cyclist. do you have the opportunity to check? thank you scusa ma ho visto solo ora che sei italiano. Se poi ka sbarra su cui scorre l' attacchi a una bicicletta e blocchi lo scorrimento in pratica hai creato una bici spinta da un ciclista senza il peso del ciclista. Mi puoi solo dire se concettualmente è corretto o sbaglio? Grazie

      il peso viene trasferito sulle rotaie dalle forze magnetiche, anche se il carrello levita il peso c'è. il vantaggio di questo sistema è la grande riduzione degli attriti

      L'effetto frenante di cui parli viene annullato dal fatto che ci sono 2 magneti che tirano in direzione opposta
