I have always loved Carol Burnett. I remember watching her show late at night. Her laugh is so contagious, and her humor is so spontaneous.

Roger Smith was so handsome and charming. I used to watch him on the’60s detective series “77 Sunset Strip.” He had been married to actress Victoria Shaw, then married Ann-Margaret. They remained together for many years until his death.
The contestant, Carolyn, looks a lot like Judy Garland as an adult.

Roger Smith was too cool to suffer from MS, but he did; diagnosed in 1965.
I actually had no idea he had suffered from MS for so long!!!
Amazing that folks say they watch this show all the time, yet the fast reuse of words and the exact same clues given always brings wrong answers.

This was the year before Roger Smith and Ann-Margret married.
Carol was pregnant here, and had her last child in August, 1968. It's weird that I have no memory of her being pregnant on her TV series, but it's probably because she wasn't far along in her pregnancy when the first season finished production, which would have been in the winter of 1968.
The woman is a Judy Garland look a like.

Sanforize. Sanforization is the process of treating cotton fabrics to reduce the amount of shrinkage that would otherwise occur after the first wash. Denim comes in two types: That which has been sanforized, and that which has not (AKA “Unsanforized denim”). Unsanforized denim will shrink a few inches in the waist and inseam when it is first soaked, hence Levi’s aptly-named “Shrink-To-Fit” denim. Sanforized denim shrinks is generally considered to be “pre-shrunk”, and therefore does not need to be sized up or down accordingly.

It was called password because in order to be a contestant, you had to say what word you would use if you were making a pass at someone.
There was a later version of the show, and they were allowed to pass if they wanted to. You also would add the answers to complete a puzzle. 🦊
Roger is a nice guy, but he brain freezes way too much for this show.

Toni Benedict: Actually, if you watch the several other times she was on Password, she did well. I was never a fan of her TV program or her "style", but she played PW better than many Celebs.
