I realized that - The action research can also be define as teacher research and it also has four (4) parts; focused on classroom problem, systematic & process-oriented, must recommend a solution, and participatory, respectively. Based on the video I watched, I also realized that there are differences between action research and formal research, namely, the objectives, duration, methodology, and significance of the research study. In the objectives, action research answers the question how while the formal research answers the question why . In the duration part, action research has a quick timeframe while the formal research has a long timeframe . In methodology, the action research is qualitative while the formal research is quantitative. Lastly, in significance, the action research is practical while the formal research is theoretical . 2. I believe that - The action research is an effective and efficient research because it applies to your professional practice given the quick timeframe it has. It helps the practitioner-researcher to make their work effectively and efficient. 3. I feel that - Action research should be taught as early as possible to have the practitioner-researcher make use of their conclusions from their problem-study that occurs in their classrooms. By using the conclusions/answers from the action research study, the practitioner-researcher is expected to solve the previous problem and also the tentative arising problems. 4.
