Hi Sisters! In case you haven't heard, the Morphe James Charles palette is insane! The colors are SO pigmented but blend out easily. I wanted to create a colorful eyeshadow look, but without it being rainbow themed. Although we're using some bright eyeshadow, it's still wearable - especially for a fun night out!
Are you guys going to Unleash Your Inner Artist with this palette? I've used Morphe in the past, but I'm really impressed with the James Charles palette!

It’s always the people who have the lowest views who do the best looks I’m sick of people using nothing but purples or rainbow looks with this pallete. I love love this!!! Except I wouldn’t use the purple shimmer
Edit: you have to apply 6 layers?!? People just stick with Jeffrey star or tarte
Thanks Aubrey!! I feel like people tend to go towards purpled because they’re “safe” (traditionally they look good on every eye color). But I feel you, I’ve been seeing a ton of rainbows recently!

The shadows are buildable, as James himself has said, that way, you can get the intensity desired of each shadow, if you went less color you apply less, if you want more intensity then ya apply more lol
aubrey Aubrey 6 layers is enough for me, as long as it looks good.

That's so nice! I really liked the palette, I feel like it's a reasonable price for the amount of product you get and for the quality of the shadows too!

You are so sweet! Thank you Sonja! I've worked with pressed pigments before, and they definitely fade quickly the more you blend them out. If you want them to be super pigmented you have to really pack them on and not move them a ton. So it takes some patience, but the end result is so bright and colorful! Thank you for all the nice compliments, I really appreciate it! :)

Haha my first thought was rainbow but 1. I know my strength is not in the detailed work that everyone else is doing and 2. I thought it was kinda overdone at this point too. So I figured this would look more boring, but I actually love how it turned out and I feel like it's a lot more user-friendly for beginners! So thank you :)

So I finally caught up with society and got a TH-cam account. So I’ve never “subscribed to a channel” or have given videos “likes”.
I’m very into super dramatic and colorful eyeshadow looks such as this one and I literally do my makeup almost everyday for work as I am in the beauty industry.
I’ve seen quite my fair share of makeup tutorial videos but stopped watching them for quite a while as I’ve never really felt like the TH-camr was necessarily good at describing what look they are trying to achieve and how they achieve it.
This is the first video I see from this TH-camr and it is BY FAR THE BEST MAKEUP TUTORIAL VIDEO I HAVE EVER SEEN. You are the first TH-camr I have subscribed to and first TH-cam video I have ever “liked”.
You did an amazing job at explaining this look and made everything extremely simple! Not to mention you have a lot of the same brushes and and primers I use daily. I cannot stress enough how impressed I am with this video. Thank you for making everything extremely easy to understand and helping me to advance my makeup skills 💕
You are the sweetest person ever!! Thank you so much! I wasn’t happy with my tutorials and this was the first one where I really took my time explaining what I was doing. Long story short - I watched a video Nikki Tutorials did where she tried to recreate a makeup tutorial from Desi Perkins just by listening to it. It made me realize I relied heavily on visuals in my tutorials and if someone was just listening it really wouldn’t help them much. So thank you, I greatly appreciate it! You may also like my two other most recent tutorials as I did the same thing where I really explained the techniques I was doing and why I was doing them ☺️💗

Thank you! It took me a while but I realized there were a lot of people out there who were still just getting into makeup and still needed basic tutorials! I've tried to be better at explaining all the steps so the tutorials are friendly for every level!

I'm in love with this palette! I played around with it today and made kind of a crazy sleeping beauty inspired look! I found the artistry color a little tricky to use but other than that the colors are stunning!
Oh cool!! I bet it turned out SO pretty! I agree, I definitely had to pack it on using multiple techniques (with a dry brush, wet brush, and my ring finger), but I felt like it built up nicely!

Those lashes look so so so good on you! They are dramatic but still look so natural!
Thanks! They're my all-time favorite! I have smaller eyelids so it's easy for most dramatic lashes to look WAY too big on my eye shape. I've found these are one of the few pairs that actually work because they're not super long!

I'm so happy to hear that, thank you! I felt like when I was first starting out I greatly appreciated tutorials that were more in depth (like the ones Jaclyn Hill used to do). But I haven't really seen a lot of TH-camrs doing that any more. Although I feel like I'm being redundant in the video (because these techniques seem like common knowledge to me) I was trying to remember to explain things beginners might not know. So I'm glad that was apparent! :)

BYYY FAAAAAAAR! The best eyeshadow tutorial I watched all 8mins and 14 seconds of it and loved it! I’ve seen and attempted to watch many makeup tutorials and never finish them.... as they drag out, don’t make sense and I lose interest😴 you’re video was sharp quick and to the point you were able to talk while applying your make up and everything you said made sense 🥰 love love love 💕💕

I'm SO glad you liked it!! The glitter glue was one of those things I didn't really know if I needed it or not, but now I can't do any of my looks without it! Even if it's not actual glitter but just shimmery eyeshadow, I found that it doesn't budge at all!

They do seem to blend really nicely. Since I'm still a little new to all this blending is something I have struggled with. But these transition so seamless, its just 😍. And the colors don't clash or overpower each other. Very nice!
