I really love this look! Done with a bunch of mattes with only shimmer at the brow and tear duct it is a gorgeous smoky eye combo. It would be great if you could do a “beginner” smoky eye look, maybe telling us the best colors and shadows to start with.

I know this is old but I just have to comment--for the first time, I actually pulled off one of your sexy smokey cut-creases! I'm 46, love makeup and have never, ever known how to do it till I found TH-cam tutorials like yours. I recreated this with the ABH Subculture pallet (which I bought brand new at TJ Maxx for $15 on clearance!) and I couldn't stop staring at my eyes all day. I do this look a lot. I play with adding color as the transition though. I often use purple as the transition shade and then do the rest how you just did. It's really pretty.
This was so fun to follow along. You are right about it being a little difficult. I actually used the MUR amplified 35 palette in socialite and got pretty close to the same shades.
How you manage to make a cut crease like this look easy, I'll never know. Been thinking about getting the inglot liner for like a year now because of you. Beautiful work as usual, thanks for the look and inspiration!

yayyy, more looks from this palette just in general, please!! girrrrl. you are honestly my favorite beautuber, i actually LEARN shit from you! which is the point that i feel is constantly glossed over and forgotten nowadays, smdh. so my bf surprised me with the palette but my skills as they relate to creating looks/putting together color combos is total shit. my blending game has finally gotten decent lol partially in thanks to your brush recommendations-i found a morphe dupe for that super tiny/kinda 'skinny' sigma blender you mentioned a little while back and while i cant really afford any sigma brushes, i live so close to the original morphe store and their brushes are really great for learning/teaching myself! ive been able to really hone in on my shadow application so i'll stop rambling lol once i get more confident in my skills, this is 1000% a look i will hopefully rock sometime soon!!! but adding to my first comments, i just wanted to suggest or request (?) more looks using this palette. oh boy im about to go off on a tangent... ok so i feel like you could do such an awesome series with this palette based on everyone's eye colors, since there are so many options for literally every shade! and im honestly SO tired of seeing the same answer every time i search on here or on pinterest for green/hazel/green-gold eyes which as we know are always freaking reds and purples. (his palette doesnt necessarily have the following shades but guac would be an amzing shade to base a look off of!) i wish there were more green looks with like, olive/khaki/army/taupe-y/jade-ish and of course darker shades like daddy from the palette etc. i know ive mentioned it before but i just wish there were more green looks that werent freakin christmas or st. patrick's day themed! idk why nobody uses greens, they look great on practically everyone! ok wow i went off but i love the look, and can't wait to see more!! 😻

Angela, I must say your makeup always comes out gorgeous!! You inspired me to buy all my newest makeup. Same name brands, everything. However, this morning I did the same look as you with the smokey black with the white eyeshadow as well as using the Too Faced foundation. For some reason, mine makes little white lines in my crease line almost 15 mins after applying the white eyeshadow. Is that maybe because that product has more grease than the Tarte brand??? I will keep trying my hardest to accomplish the desired looks I want :)

I’m new to your channel. Personally, when I look for a new youtuber to watch...you were very easy for me to get into to watch. I found your channel by looking at Jaclyn hill palette looks for inspo. I just now got it and wasn’t for sure what to do just yet. Your looks are hella great. Angela, I must say your makeup always comes out gorgeous!! You inspired me to buy all my newest makeup. Same name brands, everything. However, this morning I did the same look as you with the smokey black with the white eyeshadow as well as using the Too Faced foundation. For some reason, mine makes little white lines in my crease line almost 15 mins after applying the white eyeshadow. Is that maybe because that product has more grease than the Tarte brand??? I will keep trying my hardest to accomplish the desired looks I want :)

You must be an artist or extremely artistic because who did you know exactly what colors to use and how to layer them so the"d give you the same effect as the pic you saw. That's so crazy, I can't even do the basic eyeshadow look, and you make putting on eyeshadow like your painting a canvas. The final look is Sooo pretty!!
