Sorry, reference sets are used in a different way i.e. to LOAD only needed features of a part in an assembly. But there is a new feature in Inventor 2022 which does exactly what you want - MODEL STATES (SUPRESSES certain features in a part)
you should watch this video th-cam.com/video/D4m3395invA/w-d-xo.html because since inventor 2020 you have to have a fully constrained assembly in order to make positions work.

When i make 2 position and make some changes in each, the changes will not be kept in that positions. Does anybody knows why?
