this was genuinely such an interesting watch even as someone who isn't nearly as much into rhythm heaven as you lol. it would be really cool to see more videos like this!!
I don't think shoot 'em up has ever looked good in anything on the DS personally Good video btw, i see more where you're coming from now but i still enjoy playing this remix because it's goofy and has good music, even though the charting is lacking in some places and that, as you said, there were a lot of missed oppurtinities
I would adore more videos like this going in depth on this series. Id especially like videos giving the endless games some love since nobody ever acknowledges those and theres a lot of neat stuff in there.
I’ve never been too opinionated on the endless games, but maybe I could give one of those a go. I really want to take another shot at this format sometime, but I haven’t found the time nor motivation yet.
@Seanski2 Actually I did some further thinking after the fact and I change my mind, a way better video (or multiple videos) would be discussing how to make a good sequel game
Tbh it’s crazy to think that just two years ago custom remixes were being produced by the community by crazy, me included. Anyways Remix 2 never really stood out to me compared to other remixes. Feels draggy, forgettable, with lost potential as well.
Why remix 2 is the hardest remix on the emulator: Moai doo-wap is to hard to shout In the bluebirds it's impossible to flick, because the mouse is automatically being held after fast clicks Shoot 'em up is hard because the timing is always random due to lag Rhythm rally is always hard
-Yeah, there's unfortunately no solution for that. -I know how to fix the problem of the mouse being held after clicking. Go to "configuration" or "settings" (whichever of those two) of your cumputer and click it. The second thing of the list has the word "mouse" underneath it, so click it. Now, click mouse and go to adittional settings or something that kinda sounds like it. When you do that, read all of the settings of the page that you appear on (in other words, don't click any of the other "pages" of settings) until you get to the one that says something like "When holding the mouse for a bit, it will be automatically held" and deactivate it. tl, dr; settings > mouse > adittional settings > deactivate. -Three options: get a better computer, use Melonds instead of the one you're using or just turn down the emulator graphics. -Sorry to be the one to break it to you but that's skill issue (I'm sorry if the skill issue is because of the same thing that happened to you with Blue Birds).
I did get more of a reason to not like remix 2 ds, you really made me want to hate it, but honestly… It’s still a tad good in my book. I personally didn’t find the minigame selection to be the best. And well… The only remixes or minigames that I might dislike, or even hat, are those that are unnecessarily repetitive. Looking at you, remix 8 gba. And honestly… Nothing will be able to convince me remix 8 gba isn’t the worst remix. At the very least, remix 1 gba was the first ever remix, so you need to cut them slack as they were new to the idea. 8 doesn’t have that excuse though. Also, you convinced that moai doo-wop isn’t bad, even though it’s a simon says minigame, like a few others such as tambourine, it’s not repetitive as the music changes a lot. I still don’t like rhythm rally much in DS though, its controls are just really annoying. I’m also a defender of remix 1 ds. Again, this was the first LOCALIZED remix, so you still gotta cut them some slack on it. Also, it’s not actually repetitive, the music changes a good bit. And it’s quite energetic and feels like a factory minigame with the music for some reason. Remix 5 is my least favorite in ds, I barely have anything to say about it, it’s just painfully average. And I do agree with you on the donut remix, it’s really repetitive and only has a good minigame selection. I barely remember that one! Although… I’m super split in fever. Like, I’m split between all of them except for remixes 4, 9, 3, 10, and 5. Mostly split between 2, 7, and 8. I have perfect bias at the least from remix 5 and 1. Hey, could you convince me one of those three is worse than the others? And don’t get mad at me, it’s my opinion and if one of your favorite remixes is there, please don’t hate on me. I’m not fully accustomed to fever yet, I still have yet to grow more of a bias to the three. Oh yeah, I love the barbershop remix, the colors are cool, the appearences are cool, and the minigame selection is pretty great aside from maybe sneaky spirits. Also it was the remix perfect I got, so I have some love for it because of that. I’d really appreciate some help on deciding my least favorite remix in fever.
5:03 that was physically painful WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE OFFSYNC
this was genuinely such an interesting watch even as someone who isn't nearly as much into rhythm heaven as you lol. it would be really cool to see more videos like this!!
i didn't know i wanted a 10 minute video about one remix until now
nice video!

@@Seanski2 We need some Glass Tappers appreciation
Glass Tappers is neat, but I don’t have enough to say to make a whole video on it.
@Seanski2 Fair enough, but given that the franchise has like 30 endless games total, I think enough material for a full video could be squeezed out
@Seanski2 Actually I did some further thinking after the fact and I change my mind, a way better video (or multiple videos) would be discussing how to make a good sequel game
looking back at it, i certainly regret it putting it on 2nd place.
Great video! But I never can hear that Rhythm Rally part the same after realizing how it could have been better.
Funny how there's two remix 2's which are on the weaker side for their games and two other remix 2's on the stronger side
Tbh it’s crazy to think that just two years ago custom remixes were being produced by the community by crazy, me included.
Anyways Remix 2 never really stood out to me compared to other remixes. Feels draggy, forgettable, with lost potential as well.
i didnt expect this video to be like this but it was better than i expected
any remix with monkey watch is actually the correct answer.
skill issue
Get good
Danno: *SCREAMS and smashes*
Actually the worst part is the Blue Bird footage being *just* out of sync enough to notice
cool video, would love to see more like this
Why remix 2 is the hardest remix on the emulator:
Moai doo-wap is to hard to shout
In the bluebirds it's impossible to flick, because the mouse is automatically being held after fast clicks
Shoot 'em up is hard because the timing is always random due to lag
Rhythm rally is always hard
Tell me about it, I can never beat those 4 games.
-Yeah, there's unfortunately no solution for that.
-I know how to fix the problem of the mouse being held after clicking. Go to "configuration" or "settings" (whichever of those two) of your cumputer and click it. The second thing of the list has the word "mouse" underneath it, so click it. Now, click mouse and go to adittional settings or something that kinda sounds like it. quiz show is better
correct
