- Boston, Massachusetts has so many things to do, and in this series, we're showing how to enjoy 3 days in town. Here's our third and final day. The only problem? It fell on a Monday, when a lot of tourist attractions, especially along the Freedom Trail, are closed. Still, we managed to have a pretty good time and enjoy one of Boston's top pizzas and cannolis!

It is funny to watch you and Gordon together! Time really flies, was in Boston in 1998, loved it but had only one evening and one day there. Planned to go back in 2011 from New York but a hurricane stopped these plans! Anyway, hope to be able to go back one day because it is one of my favourite American cities and in the world.

I lived on 282 Hanover Street, Boston North End for 5 years and worked at Caffe Pompeii, which is no longer there, now new restaurant. Makes me miss Boston.

The entire series is awesome - I love Boston and the videos that are shot by you are superb . The total 45 minutes seems less! Would love to see USS constitution from the inside and there’s another building in Boston that is said to be really beautiful- Boston Public Library. Maybe you could cover it next time.

Boston is one of my favorite American cities to visit and there is not too many other cities that compare for food, history, architecture, character, and walkability!

Renata, terrific coverage, unusual to find a city so walkable in the States? A lot to see in quite a small area.
Definitely. And very accommodating for tourists.
As someone who lives in MA & grew up going to this city, it’s incredibly walkable, tons of stores and there activities & I’d argue walking is better taking the T when it’s good weather. I’ve personally walked north end to newbury street and it’s not bad to walk, long but nice to just take in the city, especially going towards newbury street.

Fun facts: the USS Constitution is the oldest commissioned US Navy ship. It is still an active military ship and is manned by an elite group of active duty sailors (kind of like the elite military who conduct funerals at Arlington National cemetery). You have to show an ID because it is essentially a US Navy ship.

Hi Renata!!! We are planning to visit Boston in Mid May as my daughter is graduating from Wisconsin, Madison on 14th but i am getting so nervous of visiting Boston looking at the hotel prices n me being vegetarian. I have to show my son MIT n Harvard as his dream university is MIT. Staying in Chicago 2yrs back, we had good hotels with breakfast like Springhill suits at a very great location. But here in Boston l am lost as we just now thought of visiting Boston if we are coming from such far for the graduation in Wisconsin. Nothing much to see in Wisconsin. Can you suggest how many days shd be our stay in Boston n which decent place to stay with breakfast? Thanks.
I can only say that Boston is expensive for hotels. Also, look closely at detail information as many hotels in the downtown have resort/facilities fees, which maybe in small print. I heard that hotels close to Harvard are cheaper. We were surprised by the hotel expense in Boston too. It is very popular.

We past both and that is where the tourists go so we decided on off the main street. Next time in Boston we will have to try.

If summer, I would prefer to stay close to the commons. There are a lot of hotels in central Boston, just be aware they are pricey and have facilities fees...read the fine print. One commenter suggested staying near Harvard, price is cheaper without resort fee.

@@kcsnew No problem 😉. Forgot to mention we stayed at the Moxy Boston Downtown. The hotel has an interesting concept, very colorful, loud music, geared towards a young crowd. It was nice to be able to walk all over downtown, but at night it was a little noisy, as it's close to a theater, bars and a nightclub

@@RenataPereiraTV thanks for replying, actually I’m from Malaysia, yes I saw your videos on Malaysia as well, never been to the States, but I saw this video by Mark Wiens on huge Italian food, ff to 20 minutes… also this is the joint that the waiters are not that much helpful n the owner is a grumpy man… to him, customers are never right… it is this type of people that I find interesting.. n I believe even I have not tasted their food, the pizzas should be very good..
