Umm...few quick tips: 1. Make the shelves a focal point by putting pretty stuff and removing other distracting decor else where in the room. Keep it to only essentials. 2. Since you are renovating, plz ask your contractor to use led strips with diffuser channels to highlight the objects. It'll look very pretty. 3. Don't clutter the shelves. Keep only impactful decor.
