Calm, clean, and good choices. Love the wood slats and the overall restraint. Nothing's too big or loud. The sun on the sofa seems to be sending its approval.
I love minimal homes. So many homes have all their appliances on kitchen counter, a handful of decor on every space of the home. Youre home is minimal, classy and clean.
I appreciate this video more than you know. As a person who loves to decorate but stresses over clutter, seeing how beautiful your home looks, I see that my home has similar attributes ❤ and decor. It is like seeing my home layout and decor with fresh eyes. Thank you!! 😊
Love the space and the minimal feel to it! I live in a 2 bedroom at HALF the sqft of what you do.. Making spaces functional while maintaining the aesthetic has been the biggest challenge.
Wow I can't imagine being able to keep a place like this clean and tidy like this all the time! It's a gorgeous apartment. Where did you get those wood panel from? It'd be nice to watch a video more in detail about your TV, speaker, lights set up. This made me think about using Apple speakers and have less cords.
Thank you! The wood panels are from The Wood Veneer Hub. Also I appreciate the video idea, will definitely work on making something like a "smart home tech" video!
Hello Amigo! What country/city do you live in? I'm from Ukraine, and we have many folks who use designer studios and spend a lot of money on the interior. However, the results often don't look as cozy as the apartments in the video. It seems like your people have a knack for creating affordable and cozy spaces. I'm really interested in learning more about the location where people have mastered this approach.
The time I clicked in to this video, I was about to take a shower but once it played, I can’t help to go through. It’s absolutely gorgeous and perfect about this apartment. The sunshine leaking through the window, and all these beautiful furnitures. Speechless… well done man. 👍👍👍
Thats a good house.. I feel most of the people spend money to make it look good that later hurts . as a user who will live in the house most of the time [most hrs spent in a day in generally in the house] it is more important to make it pleasing and welcoming, than going for something that good looks in the picture i feel something that is cozy is welcoming is far better than having too many reflective modern design .. everybody has their own taste at the end of the day
After looking at their website, it seems like they don't sell the map with the frame anymore like the one we have. We've had it for a couple of years so they must have discontinued this framed version!
Man, lol. oh god. I can't believe you covered up the accent wall like that. No hate though, you do you! It's just blowing my mind, because I completely gutted and remodeled my house, and I intentionally added an accent wall just like that! Only more blue and less teal. So to watch you remove one while I put one up just felt interesting. I've been watching a lot of house/apartment tours to give me an idea of what I can do with my house. It's been my midlife crisis project. I'm almost 40, and I'm like "wait, what if I never get my dream house?" So I was like fuck it, let's do this thing! I started gutting and building, and learning. No one ever tells you that you'll become educated on power tools. It's like having to learn how to use 4 tools for every one thing I want to do! I love the modern look, and that kitchen is just amazing. I love that backsplash so much. The kitchen remodel is going to come next year when I have more disposable income. I'm guessing the fridge and stove came with the apartment? I'm just imagining that for the stove to align with the counter top they would have to be installed at the same time, or 'maybe' there's some industry standard. But goddamn does it feel like there's no industry standard for a lot of things and it's just always chaotic all the time. --- The computer nook is an interesting idea. I always like the concept of it, but I don't know why, but I don't like how it feels in person. Part of me always likes to have eyes on the entry way. So being tucked into a nook with my back exposed just feels off putting. So in my current office I have my desk against the wall with the door, so if someone enters the room, they're passing my field of vision. For that same reason I always struggle to use headphones. I don't like the idea of completely shutting out the world. Do I have anxiety? I solo travelled across the world and I feel pretty safe most times. But just feeling vulnerable in my own office just kinda offputs me. Maybe it's a ghost thing. I'm kidding. I don't have ghosts. But I just like seeing my entry.
My biggest complaint about the video (not to be too negative) is that the fast jump-cuts in a video aimed at showing spaces is super annoying. I kept having to pause to see the layout and understand the design focus. Because at normal speed it's just burning through it. It's like trying to read a book or a dialogue menu only to have some flip to the next page after 2 seconds. Jump cuts are super great in like travel vlogs or something where you just want to show "a general idea," but to showcase specifics and take them in require more time.
i've bought 10 OG homepods (and 2 new homepods), and have 4 of them paired with apple tv 4k and 77" LG oled in the living room. i make the rear speakers half the volume and it sounds pretty good.
@@brandon.lachappelle sounds good, but i cant blast it bc im in a condo. that's why i settled with the homepods, but if i had a house i'd have two SVS subwoofers and blow the doors off.
Thanks Matt! I really want to try out a few different things on here. I’m thinking long form vlogs, some videos about health/wellness, maybe some tech content…anything specific you’d want to see??
Honestly there are some spots that don't look so clean anymore 😂 We have had a few stains/spills, but overall we just try to vacuum it regularly and wipe it right away if anything is spilled!
Dreamy... and extremely glad to see a boys vision to keep home super clean and minimalist
I'm glad you enjoyed, thanks for watching!

This is what I've been thinking lately too, would love to have a desk setup/studio space in there!

Its a lot easier when you live as a minimalist, and not having all the clutter and stuff to mess up the place.

Great video! What color is your couch? Is it pure white? I’m on the fence, but think pure white will be too bright. Yours is PERFECT.

Now that is a great question...my mom got it for us as a wedding gift, I'll ask her haha
