they need to do a multiplayer mode like this for BT4 or expand on what they did here and make 3v3s or even 4v4s. imagine how fun this shit would be with your friends and no CACs
I played tag team more than I played bt3 because it was super fun and it was portable so I could play anywhere I had a blast playing that game and I still play that game to this day extremely fun especially survival and how hard it is loved it
This game was my shit. Being able to play what's essentialy BT3 in a portable console, and with proper co-op was mindblowing for me and my cousin. We'd lost dozens of hours teaming up, trying to complete all the challenges and survival mode.
I just started playing DBZ TTT on my PSP go and I wasn't even a fan of dragon ball at all, but the combat is actually so fun and unique, it reminds me of armored core which is another series on psp, but only the movement and camera, the actual combat is nothing like armored core.
It's quite literally just BT3 on PSP. It was a very pleasant experience for me the first time I was playing it. Of course some combos and stuff were watered down but that's aight. Funnily this game has a way more in depth story mode than BT3
ATTENTION SEEREAX! A cool little trick you can do for the next video, when you guys do battle 100, If you have 5 blast stocks (The number with the blue bar) you can press L+down+O to revive yourself one more time. Also, during the mashing part of an ult or beam struggle, you can press every button not just circle. It might come in clutch. This game was peak as well, I bet doto would've hated me, I was flexing this shit all the damn time.
Another thing is that you can do fusion with gotten and trunks plus goku and vegeta input is L + Select for fusion dance and Down + L + Select for Potara fusion
Loved playing this game on my PSP. I didn’t have a memory card though so every time I turned my game back on all the characters I unlocked were gone lol

I played Tag Team all the time back in high school on my PSP. Fun as hell. Tip: You can press left or right + Select to request to fuse into Gotenks and you can press Down + Circle with 3 or more gauges to revive your partner.
Man this game was crazy fun and actually sold me on some of the "new" Kai voice actors, even the music is almost as good as the original Tenkaichi games
This game actually does have in-battle fusions into Gogeta, Gotenks and Vegito, so you should give that a go if you come back to it. The fusion mechanic is arguably even better in this game than it is in any other Tenkaichi-style game because it actually has the time limit (for the dances at least). You can still play as fusions permanently if you pick the fusions directly off the roster, but doing it mid-combat adds the limit. I think it would be interesting to see how it works with two-players with how control of the fusion gets handed off.

Something people doesn't know about this game: If you have 5 ability points while downed, you can consume them to revive even if you are out of Senzu beans, but I don't recall what combination of buttons you have to press to activate that.

A quick tip: If you're out of Senzu Beans, but have all five Union gauges filled, you can use Down+Circle+Charge to revive your teammate with one Health bar. This can be done infinitely as long as you have the Union gauge and one member still standing. If you do this while both members are still alive, you both immediately go into High Tension mode and can use your Ultimate attacks back-to-back.

Being able to see your opponents on the battlefield, switch opponents on the fly, fuse with your partner and just generally mess around with friends or even alone was lots of fun. Plus, that shit was portable (and still looked good)! So hyped for bt4

Quite a few years ago, my brother helped me get a PSP again and asked what games I wanted with it. I specifically asked for the Dragon Ball games on the psp. I only knew about the two Shin Budokai Games, and he happened to include Tenkaichi Tag Team with the PSP (he sent by mail as we live in separate cities). What an amazing find! I wish they had a 2V2 mode on the console games. Would love to see the feature added for Tenkaichi 4.

Ive been playing this on my psp for nostalgia from time to time and I recently “upgraded” my psvita and i now play tenkaichi tag, shin budokai another road, tekken 6, 5,3 etc :). I also couldnt tranfer my data so im starting from stratch having to unlock vegito and gogeta which is completely fine. Just furthermore heightens the nostalgia!!

Man, I loved this game so much, I almost 100%ed it all the way down to using frieza force members going through whatever campaign is going on with them. Unfortunately, PSPs weren't very durable and I used to take it everywhere with me because of this game. Never finished it.
yo this was the first dragon ball game i ever played. i got the demo of it on my psp when i was REALLY young and never actually played the full game to this day. i remember i used to think that vegeta was raditz with a hair cut because they had the same widow's peak. that just shows how young i was and how early it was in my love for dragon ball. i would honestly love if you did a full playthrough of this game because the memories are soaring back like crazy!

Tenkaichi tag team was the whole reason i got my ps vita back in the day. The game was a Excellent sequel to tk3. Loved every minute of the game.
yo this was the first dragon ball game i ever played. i got the demo of it on my psp when i was REALLY young and never actually played the full game to this day. i remember i used to think that vegeta was raditz with a hair cut because they had the same widow's peak. that just shows how young i was and how early it was in my love for dragon ball. i would honestly love if you did a full playthrough of this game because the memories are soaring back like crazy!

This game's story mode is fun too as it gives you a map and a 3d character to roam around collect items challenge different opponents with what if story as well
Yes finally I have been waiting for this. I played this game alot and it is so funny and fun. Also I actuallymade raid bosses out of some characters and did tournaments between them.

Bro its so nice to see this game show up for the hype of Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 4! I've played Tenkaichi Tag Team on PSP and I've played modded Tenkaichi Tag Team and if this gets modelled for multiplayer in Budokai Tenkaichi 4 that would be awesome!
