Rebecca is a passionate Singer-Songwriter/Vocal coach/mentor /impressionist/photographer/creative junkie /self- development lover not a hater.
“I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well, maybe but it’s true. So what’s motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2016. However, despite not being able to walk for a few weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn’t an easy time but I won’t let fear dictate my life. I didn’t think ‘why me’, there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it’s not always smooth sailing. It’s true when you hear, ‘Life is short’, the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and try to practice gratitude everyday…It’s so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…we are all specks of dust…Also, thank you for all your support. It means a lot. I have suffered from anxiety from the past and self-confidence, (yeah hard to see now right) didn’t think I was ‘good, or worthy enough’ but I feel I have a new lease of life, don’t really care as much and want to show you guys what I have! : ) You are all awesome and without you, there would be no channel.

Dimash so well deserved Russsia's "2018 Song of the Year" award for his very beautiful rendition of this song. Absolutely astounding!
He has vibrato even at the very top of his range, so you really can't call it a falsetto voice. Amazing.
One of the best parts of hearing him sing, for me, is the kindred sentiment of a moment like 3:07 - someone can listen to basically every song he has sung, be familiar with all his tricks and talents and still be utterly and genuinely caught off guard by something he does. I can relate. There's something really cool about that.

Hi Rebecca, im in my 50's now and i never ever thought I would like any other style of music except good old metal music like Metalica, Machine Head etc, how wrong could I be Dimash has changed that and I I listen to him everyday, to say he is unique is an understatement, it's like putting Catherine Jenkins, Russell Watson, Jimmy Somerville and touch of Barry White in a big magic pot, stir them around for a while and then out pops Dimash.

I'm hooked since discovering Dimash few days ago. I have loved music since middle school; it is amazing to see how many octaves he can sing and how easily he controls the notes. He can sing songs of Celine Dion and Whitney Houston as well as Pavarotti and sopranas. Absolutely fascinating! I'd love to learn about his routine, find out, Rebecca, and share with us. My warming up routine must be a baby in comparison; and I'm a former Olympic athlete (yes, I know that the warming up is only done to vocals but exercising helps lungs, so, that's helpful). Dimash Kudaibergen makes me want to learn Russian and Kazak :)

Rebecca, I cannot stop listening to Dimash. There have actually been nights I fall asleep listening to him with my head phones on. What an instrument!! He IS the instrument here to bless us. My main reason for this comment is to tell you how much I have learned from you as I watch you react to Dimash. Of course I watch over and over:). I never studied music but I sight read music and I sing in a choir. I now am learning so much about musical terms such as key change, chorale, Bel canto....just to name a few. Thank you for explaining what the voice is doing without ruining the video with unnecessary interruptions. You are top dollar:) Thank you.

I was also busy with my phone when he switched to that other voice and thought there's a second singer on the stage with him.. then put my phone down and started search the stage to see who that singer was and could only see Dimash!! He'll be a legendary singer you can tell... and if you don't know most of Russian lyrics are beautiful..

It`s very impressive how Dimash gets the best of each one of us from our deepest inside. I have seen a short video on Ins that Dimash practice for London concert. If the list doesn’t change, you will hear this song on his concert. So excited right?Jealous all the time😂
That song (Love is like a Dream) was written by Lara Fabian and Igor Krutoy. The album has 10 songs each in 6 different languages and this one is in Russian and that's Igor himself on the piano. He and Lara wrote the whole album titled Mademoiselle Zhivago. Lara is Igor's Muse. I recognized the song before Dimash even sang a note. It's a flippen' powerful, beautiful song and he is just owning it in such a masterful way. They're in the Kremlin Palace where she performed it. What a massively pleasant surprise. Thank You. Oh man, you are so gonna love that concert Rebecca.! x

Canadian singer Lara Fabian was first to sign the song. The song's words were written by Mikhail Gutseriyev, and the music was composed by Igor Krutoi....he is the guy that plays the piano I think :) Love you reaction as always and I can only agree on every reaction you express lol Have a great day!

Dimash has a singing range of 6 octaves and 1 note ( from the lowest baritone through soprano and on to the whistle register) at last check. Impressive considering only two living singers come close. Mariah Carey at 5 octaves 1 note and Axel Rose at 5 octaves 2 1/2 notes.
I believe Dimash still has more to give and hasn't shown us everything. He's so young and I can't wait to see him as he grows. A stunning talent and "otherworldly" voice !

"Dimash is divine." I fully concur with your statement -- as always. You are an expert commentator. BTW, the stage is not in London, it rather is the Conference Palace of the Moscow Kremlin. (I have ages ago attended an international conference in the same hall). Dimash was performing before the officers of the Russian Ministry for the Interior. The pianist was the composer of this song, Ivan Krutoy. I don't remember if you commented on Dimash's "Sinful Passion", which he performed in Sochi, Russia, but if you did you may remember that once Dimash had concluded, there was a man in white shirt in the front row giving a standing ovation. That was Mr. Krutoy.

Good one, but i advise to do the one at the Gakku concert. because it's not only a song that Dimash made when he was 19 but there is a part where he sings even much higher then in the Dimash having fun with his voice video or any other.
