Wretch 32 is up there with the best in the world, not just the UK! It seems like when the US forgot about lyrics..the UK stepped up and bred a generation of rappers who focused on what really matters! Because that 90's US hip hop is what inspired them! Edit...infact thinking about it, in terms of lyrics and intelligence I think wretch 32 is one of the greatest to ever live! Of all time

I remember listening to Nas when Illmatic came out and it blew my mind. When was that? 97? 98? I don't remember. But I can say that anyone who listened to rap in the 90s in the UK knew who Nas was. He was incredible.
