  • This is a typical Saturday morning hike for my buddy Scott, @doingstuffseeingstuff and myself.
If we are in town and not off doing something stupid, this is how we start our Saturday mornings. We have been doing this hike for years, and to tell you the truth it is one of the few things that are a pretty much non-negotiable for me when I come home off the road. I need that time with Scott to decompress a little and catch up. I don't have many people in my life that I spend time with, outside of my wife and children. Good Godly men are hard to come by.
Sometimes we walk in silence sometimes we do a good bit of talking, maybe bouncing ideas off of each other, sometimes complaining about the state of the country, or looking forward to the imminent return of Jesus. but most of the time we are talking about nothing, nothing in particular, but all of that nothing adds up to something... time well spent.
We just never took the time to film this particular hike, and I was perusing TH-cam the other day and there is not much on Isaqueena, so here ya go, a pretty good overview of the lake trail hike, or at least how we loop it together to make a five mile hike. You can take different routes to accommodate different distances to suit your time frame. Take a buddy, leave your phone in the car, and just spend time together. Talk or don't talk, just be...
    see ya on the trail

Yeah Scott told me it was in All Trails now. Back when my brother and I were mountain biking it I couldn’t find anything on it. There was no all trails back then 😀😂😀

Thanks for the trip. I don't feel any lighter though. :-) I'll put this trail on my list. You mentioned you've never seen a map of it.. Do you have AllTrails app on your phone? It's there. All the side trails. I'm such a mapping nerd, I love to GPS track my rides and walks and keep it all on a computer so I can fill the screen before I die. I want to do all the things!
