- FXS and FXO are the names of the ports used by analog phone lines (also known as POTS - Plain Old Telephone Service) or phones. ... This is the jack or interface to the phone system which FXO devices can be connected to. FXO (Foreign Exchange Office) is the port that receives the analog line.

Hi,
I fixed a 4FXO card, I can see it is in the inventory list but I can not see it in the voice port summary. do you have any idea what is the problem.

Please clarify my understanding:
FXO is the port where pstn line get terminated and FXS is the port where we connect phone
I hope this is not to late but that is correct.

@@mdabdulmoiz What do you mean? Sip is completely different than analog pots.
