Thank you mate for explaining concept of dial-peer in world of VoIP. I really learnt in depth. Could you please clear my one doubt>> In pots dial-peer we use port command suppose port1/0/1:23, Here can you elaborate more for 23 which signifies as signaling part. Is it universal? I anticipate your comment. If I am not wrong that 23 used for signaling in T1 PRI lines, Right?
Time stamp 27:32 ..Voip dial peer by default forwards all digits collected so forward all command is not required incase of voip dial -peer .Please correct me if i am wrong
Forward all digits is required if you are defining particular number like if you are defining 911 in destination pattern then you have to use forward digits all command. that means if a number is defined explicitly then you have to use forward digits all or forward digits 3 command. If you are defining like destination-pattern ^[2-9]...... then you dont need to use forward digits all or forward digits 7 command. It will take all the numbers by default. There are actually so many scenarios with this forward digit or other commands.
@@TechnicalVenture if we are using pots dial peer and destination pattern is 911 then I understand forward digits all is required but in case of voip dial peer then forward digits all is not required as explicitly mentioned 911 will be forward
Your videos are so good and easy to understands. Can you please share the video link for voice translation rule if you already made it. Otherwise please plan one session about voice translation rule.

:23 is for T1 and :15 is for E1 which is a signaling channel in respective PRI lines.
that 23 is used for signalling and synchronization and yes that 23 is used in T1 PRI lines
35:20 what is there in Translation profile config?
