There ought to be a way to leverage Reaktor to visualize more easily what's connected to what. Even automatic color coding would go a long way (e.g. input A is green, any device connected to input A gets a green border etc). This is a really cool tool but the mental overhead of understanding the connections even with such a small matrix is kind of daunting.
I'm with you here. Honestly I haven't found a matrix mixer that doesn't have this mental overhead. I'm editing a video right now about a hardware matrix mixer, and I think I've found a way to clarify with colored diagrams (apologies to those who are colorblind), but I do think it will help. Stay tuned!
