Great job with this guide/overview. One thing I'll add is that you don't have to get all the bounties or crafting items or complete Erzheimer's collection to consistently beat the game. You really don't even have to do sidequests. These things just make it easier.
Very true, my first playthrough was mega-scuffed, still made it through fine. Second playthrough (this one recorded for the series) was a lot more... thorough and optimized, mostly for the sake of actually collecting footage for as close as I can get to 100% "just in case" I needed some B-roll for various things. But of course, with that much completion, I was loaded. Dean ended the game with 2 bags full of axes that he's never used once, I didn't even need to equip Nothung at any point. I had like 150k worth of weapons just floating around that never even got used... it was excessive, kinda felt bad for the enemies at the end of Chapter 15 tbh.
