I felt fine and even bragged to my fiance and best friend about how my pregnancy was going pretty smoothly not too horrible. And then I hit 30 weeks and I want to die.
Our third baby never slept. I thought I knew everything. I’d sleep trained our first, our second slept from the get go... and our third was SO HARD! For me that third baby was all about humbling. I thought I was a seasoned parent, but you’re right- every baby is different. It’s made me a more compassionate friend and less judgmental of other moms.
Susan, I’m 39 weeks along and I swear I thought Baby was going to come early. I’m ready to have this baby... soooo ready. I feel everything you feel. hang in there mama!
First pregnancy, 34 weeks and I just want my baby girl here RIGHT NOW! If I could but ideally NOOO as I want her healthy and fully developed. However with the CONSTANT heartburn, pelvis pain, mood swings and the pee trips I want this over and my mind isn't seeing reason. I literally have a mantra right now "6 MORE WEEKS, 6 MORE WEEKS!! I CAN DO THIS". The only positive I can think of right now is my skin is super clear. It hasn't been this clear since I was 16! 10 YEARS. I have hormonal acne and I would always get it when my period was around the corner and sadly before it would calm down it would flare again as my period was coming again -_- This has been a blessing. I should really take pictures to appreciate this lol because I know for a fact when my girl is here and my body gets back to normal my skin will go back to 'normal'.
Girl, I feel you... Thanks for putting this out there! No one prepared me for how miserable I would feel like in the third trimester. Currently 36 weeks and COUNTING THE DAYS. Hang in there, momma.
I don't envy any of you pregnant super stars. I've had 4 babies and I remember the pregnancy. It's not easy growing a new human. Hang in ladies (and dads) that first touch of new baby makes it all worth while.
I can listen to you talk all day.you are so much fun😁during the last trimester of my second pregnancy I was always so tired and sleepy..I slept even when my toddler was screaming at my face.
I have never related to someone so much lol literally if I made a video of my pregnancy it be just like this but I have hyperemesis gravidarum so I’m super miserable, thank you for this Susan! And I hope all goes well during labor 💗
Oh my goodness, thank you for this video! I'm just week 27 with twins and I feel like nobody allows me to complain about my physical state! "You should be happeeeee, you wanted these babies for so loooooong!" While I know people have a point, I still can't help feeling physically miserable. I still have almost 3 months to go. Omg
The midwife at my OBs office basically said every subsequent pregnancy and every year older you get makes pregnancy that much harder. I'm 16 weeks now and honestly feel like I'm 30 weeks, especially in my back.
Loved this video, thank you for being so frank about your experience! People need to know that pregnancy is not a perpetual feeling of elation, it comes with very real physical, emotional, and mental challenges during and after. Hopefully videos like this help others empathize, and help women know that it’s ok to feel the way they do.
A cute idea I've seen to help toddlers transition is to get them a special present from the new baby, so it's celebrating the toddler even when the new baby comes home. Also having a play baby that they can care for helps teach them how to act and be gentle around the new baby. :) So excited for you!!
Omg, I hear you sister! I litterly just got off the phone with my husband and everything you've said in the first minute or two, I just said to him. Pregnancy is hard and I'm at 30 weeks right now. It feels like I've been pregnant forever... and this is my first one. I hope we have them soon!
I’m 5 months in with my second pregnancy and I feel you completely! With my first it was so easy and quick and with this one it’s def harder especially taking care of a toddler. Hang in there! I still have a long way to go, but it feels better knowing I’m not alone during this process. #WeCanDoIt
I can totally relate!! Pregnancy is a blessing BUT I didn’t enjoy it! Totally felt like forever, was so uncomfortable and didn’t feel like myself. Would do it over 10000 times to have my son but it’s so so hard sometimes 😩
Omg Susan... I needed this video so bad this morning lol I’m in my third trimester (second pregnancy) and it’s been TOUGH. It’s honestly really helpful to hear that I’m not alone with having these feelings.
My first pregnancy was much easier than my second. But my second baby is much more chilled than my first, which is likely a combo of her personality and my confidence as a mom. I would take an easy baby over an easy pregnancy any day. Wishing you a healthy pregnancy and an easy delivery!
At 36 weeks I ended up in the ICU with left sided chest pain and trouble breathing - turned out it was gas... Trapped in my colon, pressing on my heart and lungs. Now week at 37 I have painful gas all the time, it keeps me awake and sitting up - I just want to be able to take a real breath. I want this baby out NOW! But he hasn’t even dropped yet.
Same! Right there with you! I’m 38 weeks and my baby girl has been sitting low the entire time and kicks me all night long...i feel ya! I feel we’ve earned the right to vent, so let it all it out! I like to say “I’m not complaining, I’m just explaining!” 🤣 May you find peace and rest the rest of your pregnancy 🙏🏻❤️
This is so relatable!! Everything you said rings sooo true for me. I’m almost 31 weeks, with my second baby. Rewatching this at 4:00am because I’m up with pregnancy insomnia again. Thank you for sharing the struggles of your pregnancy, it’s nice to know I’m not the only one not necessarily enjoying my third trimester. Lol
I agree with everything you said. I have a 2 year old son. My first pregnancy wasn’t bad at all. Since I’m a stay at home mom now, taking care of him plus being 32 weeks pregnant (with a girl), is so much work. My brain wants to do so much, but my body simply can’t keep up. Thanks for sharing and hang in there!
I’m on my second pregnancy. My daughter is 7 and idk if it’s because I had her at 20/21 but my pregnancy with her was an absolute breeze!!! I’m now 28 and 25 weeks pregnant and I’m sooooooo over it! 💆🏻♀️
I totally relate! This is my second pregnancy and I’m in week 33. I’m so uncomfortable and feel like I could go into labor any day even though I know we still have a few weeks to go! My worst symptom has been restless legs and insomnia at night. Im exhausted but can’t sleep! Go figure!
Im 35 week with my 2nd pregnancy. And im exhausted, i feel so out of breath, i have to move so slow and i gained alot more weight (all around the middle this pregnancy ) but this time around was still so much easier. My 1st pregnancy was twin girls and every step of the way was so difficult. With my twins i gained all over and was so swollen i had morning sickness until almost 20 weeks, back spasms, heartburn, and headaches. I went in to labor at 32 wks with placental abruption and had to have 2 blood transfusions and get steroids for their lungs. They were a little over 3 and half pounds each. So even though this 2nd pregnancy i feel like im dying its been a breeze with no complications or bad really bad pregnancy symptoms. Im so uncomfortable but i feel so blessed that he is still in my belly growing and happy because my twins had it so hard for that first couple of months of their life in the nicu.
3rd trimester tomorrow, I hate all of this. Was incredibly sick the first and second trimester, lost a lot of weight. Only about 5 lbs over my normal weight now. Will be my one and only baby can't wait for it to be all over.
Thank you for making this video. I’m in my 3rd trimester on my 2nd pregnancy & I FEEEEEL YOU!! This pregnancy has been so tiring for me. I can barely sleep & I’m tired of needing to pee so little yet so often. I’m only on month 7 & everyone CONSTANTLY telling me i’m so huge. Okaaaay I get it lol. Its almost over, hang in there ❤️
I was fine till one week ago. All of a sudden I can't breath and my hips started to hurt yesterday. I'm both ready for this to end and also sort of scared because I don't have everything ready yet and I only have 5 weeks left to go.
Omg i am exactly the same as you and then some! Felt great & literally came down with viral thing that ofcourse I can’t have meds for arghhhh which totally floored me, then my indigestion & constipation ramped up to max last 2 days & I am now understanding why women say the end is the worst! So uncomfortable now... just over it but too only 5 weeks left to go... in theory! I too haven’t got everything ready & can’t do it all till I am recovered from this bug 😫🤬😥🤣
Hi Susan! It's been fun tracking your pregnancy alongside my own (my due date was September 21...but I just delivered him September 4th!). This is my first pregnancy and I've really found your videos valuable. Definitely harder to take care of the baby outside of the uterus. Hope the birth goes well and look forward to tracking your updates as our babies will be about the same age!
How old is Nikash? I am 31 weeks pregnant and my JR is 2 years one month (hurray). We have a Strider balance bike for JR and I feel like it has helped with my ability of keeping up with his energy level. Thank you for posting this because I feel the same! Congratulations on the recent birth!
If I laugh too hard I pee a little and I’ve never been pregnant. Lol. Being a woman is difficult. Mom’s are wonderful. I lost my mom 9 months ago, and was her only child. I’m 25, and have inherited a mortgage and home. And I have to thank my mom for making me into the woman I am today. I’ve always been a bit apprehensive of even having one child. I keep telling myself if by 35, I don’t have the urge to have a child. I probably just won’t, or I may adopt. But I wonder if anyone else has felt that way. I know woman are capable of doing anything. But sometimes I feel like if I don’t have at least 1 child. My life would be incomplete. Any advice or thoughts? God bless your Susan! Can’t wait to meet your beautiful baby girl! 💕
Ah! This is exactly how I feel when I got pregnant with my 2nd boy. He is so active inside my belly and I gained so much weight. I felt so exhausted and heavy all at the same time. I couldn't wait to pop him out and just get it over with. My mother said the same thing, "it's easier to take care of the baby when he is inside. Compared to outside." While it's true, I still wanted him out because I was constantly eating and gaining so much weight to the point that I'm not comfortable in my own body. I feel so sucky and I kept rubbing my belly telling him that I couldn't wait to see him. It's been 4 years since I had my first child so I was excited to get another baby. I didn't sleep through my second emergency c-section. I'm used to waking up at odd hours because my eldest son is very hyper. He will sleep at 4 in the morning almost every night and slept till afternoon. I also had a terrible insomnia every night. I couldn't sleep, (my baby in my belly was always kicking) I felt so uncomfortable. It's such a relief after I gave birth. I lost most of the weight by cutting down on my meals and exercising. I just can't get myself to be comfortable in my body when it's heavy. My legs were aching and my post partum belly was so flabby. Now I felt so much better and I don't think I want another kid. It's too exhausting. 😂😭 Anyways, I wish you have a smooth delivery and a healthy baby. You're almost there, you can do it! 💪🏻😘
Dear Susan, thanks a lot for your honesty🙏 you are so real and honest that is why l love you so much🧡 yes being pregnant is hard!!! There is nothing wrong feeling that you just want it is over and the baby is out 👍🏻 l felt exactly the same way how you are feeling right now and l got so many judmental and negative commands from people around me!!! Just because l was honest!!!!
I just had my first baby 2 weeks ago and my pregnancy was miserable. I didn't stop feeling nauseous and throwing up until I was 38 weeks and I had high blood pressure brought on by being pregnant. And my daughter sat low too.
I know exactly how you feel. I am due almost the same time as you with a scheduled section. My son is a little older than yours and I’m due with a baby girl as well.
Well I’m on my first pregnancy and I’m ready for her to just be here already!!! When are you due? I’m not due until December 5 and I hope she a least will come early! 😊
I'm thinking of having our second and I completely understand, because I am dreading all the hard parts I experienced first time around. You are not alone! Its not easy and its ok to say that!!!! Sending you positive vibes 😙
Only in second trimester with baby number 2 and I CANNOT BELIEVE how horrible this time around is. I have shooting pains in my vagina, my hips and back hurt so much, I'm already huge and it hurts to breathe or exercise and it's crazy! I feel like I could have ran a marathon in 2nd trimester last time. Now it hurts to walk up a flight of stairs. 😭😭😭
I'm 31 weeks, second pregnancy and I feel the exact same way! I'm glad I'm not alone. My first was so easy, and i feel I've had every single symptom that I never had with my first 😣 but everyday is closer to meeting my baby girl 💝 my son still doesn't understand the "baby" he'll say there's a baby in my tummy but won't acknowledge real babies 😂
Your second pregnancy sounds like my last pregnancy with my son. It was my first and it was so tough. I was sick all the time, he was super low (I felt him there the whole time - in fact he never kicked my ribs, because he was never high enough) and he did actually come early at 36 1/2 weeks 🙈 now I’m in my second and it’s been amazing. I have sickness still, but it’s night and day. Way easier than my last. So sounds like we are having opposite pregnancies.
You just described my exact pregnancy. I’m 34 weeks and have a 2 YO. I’m so over it, I need it to be done. Also convinced myself he’s coming early. Now I’m questioning that. I think I need to hold onto that for sanity 😂
Thank you for sharing this! I’m excited for you! My second was very hard-nothing like the first! I could swear she was kicking straight down or it felt like she was literally standing straight up in my tummy! Oh, that sh*t hurt! Quick sharp pains! Definitely nap & rest as much as you possibly can! Take advantage mama. Also, love seeing you, but if you need time away, take that too! Best of luck!
You look gorgeous! I just discovered this channel. I recently subscribed to Mixed Makeup! Where have I been? Congratulations on upcoming birth of baby #2. Your little boy is adorable! ❤❤❤❤
Concentrate on being happy that you’re able to have a pregnancy, let alone a second one. Many people are not as lucky despite multiple rounds and years of fertility treatments, if they can even afford it.
I am at the end of my 3rd trimester with my second pregnancy and I feel EXACTLY the same! Not loving this pregnancy, feel so much heavier, 1st time everyone said I had such a neat bump, could not see I was pregnant from behind etc, now everyone keeps saying wow you so pregnant! 🙈 Though I had a girl first, having a little boy this time. Oh and my boobs are touching my belly too 😭
Hate to be this person but I am in my second pregnancy and it has been WAY easier than my first. I didn’t have any morning sickness first trimester. I have never heard about each pregnancy getting harder, I’ve just heard that each pregnancy is different. I’m having a boy this time and my girl pregnancy was much harder... who knows 🤷🏼♀️
I love watching your videos, you’re so relatable! I’m 34 weeks with my first pregnancy. I’ve loved it so far but now I’m just TIRED! Especially working on my feet 10 hours a day about kills me. Currently wondering how I’m going to survive the next six weeks!
Yes yes yes! The 2nd pregnancy has been so much harder for me than my first. I got sick these last two weeks and it's just the worst lol. Just keep your eyes on the prize! You're almost done! (That's what I keep telling myself too when I'm close to meltdown mode. 6 more weeks for me!)
Third trimester here too...fourth baby. So far first pregnancy was a breeze and it just got a bit worse each time. This time has been super rough the first 15 weeks and now the 3rd trimester too. Good thing the second trimester was decent, Haha. Delivery though was hard for my first 2 and a breeze with my thrid... and hopefully this one too 😉
Also, you have MUCH more time to relax and take care of yourself with the first pregnancy. You have NO TIME for yourself with each additional pregnancy.
Hey, you. whoever’s reading this, this is your sign. everything’s gonna be okay. you did not come this far to give up. I believe in you ❤️ Stay connected 😜😘😍😜
Due Dec 2nd. with a boy. FTM. Pretty easy for the most part aside from the heartburn I had (until my doctor prescribed me meds), and leg pains. I heard that pregnancy with girls are more difficult. I know someone who says their pregnancy with their boy was a lot easier than her current pregnancy with her girl.
I am 40 ,on my 4th pregnancy and I am currently 19 weeks. My oldest baby will be 20 before this last one comes. I am very impatient and huge already. My sleep is constantly disrupted by the need to pee or eat. I don't want to rush this little girl cause she needs to bake longer but this time.... My due date can't come fast enough.
So glad we're pregnant at the same time/around the same time, but you're on your second so you know more 🙂 third trimester is definitely hard for me too though
I've reached that point of desperation and I'm not completely through my first trimester! A little over 11 weeks here, but I've thrown up about 12x a day nearly everyday since the 6 weeks mark.
I'm in the third trimester with my first baby. I'm pretty sure I pulled a muscle in my groin because a squatted to look for something and couldn't get my fat ass back up without hurting myself. And everything hurts all the time. I'm so over it.
love your videos!!! Second pregnancy update “it sucks!” Lmao I’m in the same boat I’m 28 weeks pregnant and also run after my 2 year old toddler it sucks lol definitely not relaxing hahahah! Still feel so blessed but it’s hard!!!! I’m a new TH-cam mama so you give me tons of video inspiration for my channel!
Awhhhhh i can totally relate to myself to this one .... just started 2nd trimester with my second pregnancy and i dont know why but i cry all the time for no reason ...... help someone plz
Its my 3rd pregnancy and boy, yours is easier compared to mine...i spent my first trimester in the hospital..i cannot eat much and had gastritis..and my sense of smell was so strong that i vomit everytime i smell something that doesnt agrees with me...my 2nd is a so so...but this last trimester is really something...i cannot sleep well...i have gerd...i cannot breath well...i easily get tired...i have a rapid heart rate..and anxiety is taking toll..i dont know if this is common to some moms but mine is really traumatic😫
Thanks for all the info and honesty. I am not having anymore kids. But all ur symptoms happened to me n more. I thought I was the only one. By the way u look fantastic. This pregnancy n the other as well. Sorry I don’t see the difference. Keep it up gorgeous
Pregnancy is SO weird. I really disliked the first and most of the second trimester because of the usual nausea and dizziness, without having a cute little bump to get distracted by. The third trimester I'm loving a lot more, except for those times I wake up in the night with horrible hip or knee pain when not even a pregnancy pillow helps, being so thirsty at night but not wanting to drink anything so I can actually sleep without getting up 6 times to pee, not being able to fall back asleep in the middle of the night, blah blah blah, but man oh man when he starts kicking away and having a fun time and we can see him rolling around, those are the moments I love. And I've actually never loved my body more, either. For once I don't care about thigh wobble or stretch marks or chunkiness or any of it. I just feel lovely.
Omg I’m crying bc I relate so much. 😭 I’m only 6 weeks pregnant with my 2nd and I’m so sick! Im nauseas everyday and I don’t know how I’m gonna keep taking care of my toddler on my own while my husband is at work. I’m already hating it. Thank you for saying it sucks 😭
i'm 30 weeks today and i completely agree with every word you are saying. just feel so much more pregnant all day! i feel like my due date is still so far away. lol
i just had a 20 minute deep, grievous weep session because i am sick of having to pee. 😞
Same girl, 35 weeks 😓
Hahaha OMG me too. I hate the anticipation of a long long pee flow and then its literally two seconds of pee :(
Same girl, same! My husband and I went out and in the span of an hour and a half I had to pee 3 times 😒
MOOD
It could’ve been 30 minutes... but you had to go pee
First baby third trimester, counting like i am plotting my way out of jail.
😂😂😂
Same!
Same here 😂
Saaaaaame.
Same!

35 weeks, first baby, been done with it all for months. I have had so much pain and its only getting worse. So happy I'm not alone in this
I'm at 38 weeks of my first pregnancy and I think I'm dying 😅😅😅 Hang in there!
Im only about 6 weeks along, with my first. I send all my blessings your way❤❤
Susan, I’m 39 weeks along and I swear I thought Baby was going to come early. I’m ready to have this baby... soooo ready. I feel everything you feel. hang in there mama!
Lena Vo omg! I feel you, I’m 39 weeks as well. I really thought he was going to come early but he’s not budging
39 weeks over here as well! Hang in there ladies.
my 2nd baby felt the same exact way. I started thinking she was gonna come early and I ended up having her at 37 weeks. mama instincts 💕
My 1st (boy) was horrible I was nauseous the whole time. Pregnant with 2nd (girl) and so far it been awesome (25 weeks).

Your placenta grows wherever the fertilized egg implants inside your uterus. I’m almost 33 weeks pregnant with baby number 1 👶🏼💙
Shelby Stein I’m 32 weeks as well with my baby number 1! It’s a girl 💛
Interesting! I’m pregnant with #2!
Congratulations ladies!
I’m 39 weeks 💙

Bear Necessities I’m almost in week 33 and I completely agree!!
I'm just starting my third trimester and this is also my 2nd pregnancy. My 1st one was easy with my Daughter. But this lil guy is kicking my butt lol
You're so real in this video, I'm cracking up. I love it!!

33.5 weeks now, I’ve also outgrown most of my maternity clothes. Living in sweats and accidentally peeing myself in all of them. Hang in there!!
Thank you for making this video. I’m in my 3rd trimester on my 2nd pregnancy & I FEEEEEL YOU!! This pregnancy has been so tiring for me. How on earth did i survive 3 pregnancies and 3 c sections! Im 39 now and can sneeze and will pee myself and im not pregnant! Hahah
Do kegels. They really help!
Go see a pelvic floor physiotherapist. It helps a lot, you shouldn't be peeing yourself.
Yep
Yeah I definitely thought having c sections would be I wouldn't pee myself constantly. Psych. Jokes on me.
I was fine till one week ago. All of a sudden I can't breath and my hips started to hurt yesterday. I'm both ready for this to end and also sort of scared because I don't have everything ready yet and I only have 5 weeks left to go.

32 weeks with baby #1 💙 Working full time doesn’t help with all the pains either!
Anyways, I wish you have a smooth delivery and a healthy baby.
We have similar feelings, I’m 39 weeks with my first. I’m having a boy💙
I really thought he was coming early but little boy said sike mom.
I’m only 2 minutes in so far but I have to say I really admire your honesty. It’s refreshing ☺️❤️
Dahlia Black my thoughts exactly!! But then again you never appreciate what comes easy .
Though I had a girl first, having a little boy this time.
Audrey Laughrey It’s great to be that person! I was the same first time around. It makes me happy for you! 🤗
I’m 35 weeks pregnant and this is also my 2nd pregnancy and holy cow everything your saying is soo true glad it’s not just me. I feel miserable 😭
So on point! I'm 35w almost 36w and I feel awful. Thanks for this!
You are a 100% describing my current pregnancy (32 weeks). I love love my baby, but I need to hold her already! Sending you much love. 😘😘
1st pregnancy and have gone into my 3rd Trimester. Can relate to this video so much. Thank you!
Thanks for including the part about the spam feeling. I've been feeling that too and didn't realize that it's Braxton hicks.
When you said "no shit!," I died laughing. We're 36 wks into our first pregnancy and it feels like forever.
Hey, you. whoever’s reading this, this is your sign. everything’s gonna be okay. you did not come this far to give up. I believe in you ❤️ Stay connected 😜😘😍😜
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Due Dec 2nd. with a boy. FTM. Pretty easy for the most part aside from the heartburn I had (until my doctor prescribed me meds), and leg pains.
I heard that pregnancy with girls are more difficult. I know someone who says their pregnancy with their boy was a lot easier than her current pregnancy with her girl.
love your personality and communication style. Can't wait to see your little baby girl. Waiting for more videos about you and your new baby to come
I am 40 ,on my 4th pregnancy and I am currently 19 weeks. My oldest baby will be 20 before this last one comes. I am very impatient and huge already. My sleep is constantly disrupted by the need to pee or eat. I don't want to rush this little girl cause she needs to bake longer but this time.... My due date can't come fast enough.
You look amazing as always! Thank you for keeping us updated
Maybe pregnancy gets tougher cos one is older second time round and you have another kid to look after. Good news is that labour is faster
love your videos!!!
Kimberly Iloreta I’m a new TH-cam mama too!! Hope you enjoy the rest of your pregnancy. 💕
Awhhhhh i can totally relate to myself to this one .... just started 2nd trimester with my second pregnancy and i dont know why but i cry all the time for no reason ...... help someone plz
I'm 32 weeks in my 1st pregnancy and I'm totally done, except for my baby lying low I'm having every symptom you have 😫😫
Agreed! Exactly how I felt during my second. So hard with a toddler and everything else! You are looking great! Can’t wait to see your little girl 😊
Thank you for generously sharing your experience and I'm your new supporter here... I'm soon going to deliver by second baby so... Looking forward 💕.
Congratulations! May your baby be healthy, happy. You come out okay. Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Amen
Susan, what will you use after pregnancy as contraceptive? This is a very delicate subject, but can you enlighten some of us, please.
I really appreciate your candor. 3rd tri over here too and OH WOW.
Due in a day and yes third trimester has been the worst and horrible 😭cant sleep or breath or live
Really enjoyed this video as I’m 39 weeks with my 3rd and really ready for my little bundle to get the hell out now 😂😂
Bethan Thomas Congratulations, I’m 39 weeks too. I can’t wait til he’s out 😭
Pregnancy is SO weird.
I love your videos a lot! So much good energy!!!
Me too. 2nd pregnancy third tri ..... I can't wait to unload baby.
i'm 30 weeks today and i completely agree with every word you are saying. just feel so much more pregnant all day! i feel like my due date is still so far away. lol
My 2ed pregnancy was freaking AWESOME!!!!! 🤷🏻♀️ my 1st well hell!
You should start a podcast about beauty and baby stuff❤️❤️
I love your videos but for some reason this one just kept zooming in and out and it started giving me a headache, did u get a new lense or something?
