Collab Alert!! ThredUP DIY Fabric & Textiles (aka Scrap Fabric) Rescue Box with 13 Channels!!

- Thank you for watching!! Today we are doing a collaboration with some amazing other content creators. 13 channels (I say 11 in the video but that’s wrong, 13 of us!!) all ordered the same ThredUp Fabric and Textiles Rescue Box. We never win these collabs for having the best box, but will a secret weapon that was tucked inside of this box have us landing on top finally?! Watch and see! Here’s the channel lineup. We will be setting these as Premieres so we can chat with everyone all day. Come hang out with us while we explore a LOT of fabric (and maybe some unexpected goodies).

That in Taylor was definitely one of my favorite ones in the box. I think that I pulled three or four dresses that were worth listing even though none will get crazy great money. But that ring was definitely the unexpected surprise. If you had told me that my best item in the box would be a 10 karat gold and diamond ring. I would’ve thought that you were crazy! It definitely made for some fun editing of the video too. 😉 can’t wait for our shoe Collab, so excited that you will be joining us.

Such an unexpected wonderful surprise. If you had ever told me that the best item that we would get in a scrap fabric box would be 10 karat gold and diamond I would’ve thought that you were nuts! 😍😍 someone else said they wondered how many people touched this jumpsuit and missed that ring completely, and I pointed out. I was about two steps away from doing the same, it was going to go right in the donationpile, had I not laid the jumpsuit in just the right way, when I went to put it back in the box

Loved the first dress. The susana dress is very cute! I didnt know what a maxi dress looked like until whating this collab. Lol I only wear dresses if I have too. 😂 But I think that is the style I like the most. Wow the ring is an awesome surprise! Very cool! ❤❤❤

I actually thought the same thing! It felt like something that would be in a grade school Thanksgiving day play. Or maybe something with a church or something. Such a cool piece, but I have no idea what to do with it lol

That floral Ann Taylor silk dress is pretty. I still have half the collab to go BUT if you include the cracker jack price in your box, you will probably have the best box.
That and Taylor dress really was beautiful, as well as the blue and white embroidered dress. This was definitely different than what I was expecting, but I really enjoyed the Collab. I may be a little biased though because that crackerjack little prize was pretty spectacular!! but I also just love all of these women so much that it was fun getting to spend the afternoon with them.

Did you ever figure out the size of the Susana Monaco dress? It’s gorgeous! Is it listed?
Yes, it’s a size 4, the tag was on the underside skirt part of the dress. Such a beautiful dress! And it’s listed in my Poshmark closet, along with measurements. 😉👍🏻

Peggy, I’m glad I have the presidium yes. But it can be a little fickle, and my buddy Marilyn over at ShadyNY has given me some amazing coaching. It’s just a guide to point you in the right direction. But you can’t count on it to be the end all be all. You have to use your resources and knowledge along with it for it to really be a good aid. I will say that the number of times that I am sure that I have some beautiful stone and it ends up being glass or not even is higher than I would have thought. 😂😉🤷♀️ But the rare times it hits to diamond, it’s super exciting.

It was definitely fun in the live chat and an unexpected plot twist! Someone in the chat said that dry cleaners will pin items they find in pockets to the outside of the garment with a safety pin. I almost wonder if that’s what happened? That would make a little more sense, although I’m still puzzled because the jumpsuit is pretty horrendous cheap fast fashion fabric.
@@happyhourhaulers6126 I turned in a sweater to a dry cleaner I used regularly. When I realized I left a sterling filigree brooch with a gem stone on the sweater, I returned to the cleaners and inquired. They said they didn’t have the brooch. Afterwards I never took my clothes there.
I'd imagine they picked the cheapy jumpsuit figuring no one would look there. Maybe they live in a sketchy neighborhood, have a addicted person living there...something along those lines.
I wonder how many hands this jumpsuit passed thru before the ring was found?
I wondered that too, if this passed through multiple people before I found it. Heck, u was two steps away from donating that jumpsuit, and thus the ring, when I happened to notice it. Someone in the live chat said this is something dry cleaners will do when items are found in pockets, they will attach those items with a safety pin to the outside of the garment, makes logical sense to me and I wonder if this may have been the case and that part of the mystery is solved. 🤷♀️
