      He's a genius at putting stuff together, I can't even being to list the things he's built over the years. Air boat, dune buggy, at least a dozen trailers, log splitters, device for picking up rocks, weight benches, numerous trikes, etc.... he loves building things more than using them! Thanks for watching!!

    Y'all have an awesome start, very well thought out and planned. I have a 97 Ford ranger that I've been going to do this with. Was wanting to stay with truck frame. My son and I've built several trikes all VW powered and based, from using VW partial body to factory fiberglass body from "Barry Bodies"(spelling?) Out of Michigan.
    Thank you for your proding me along.... Really love the air bags, that was a must for this maybe last build for me due to health issues. Going to do this one with oldest grandson and son I hope!!!

      Thanks for the comment! Dad is still working in this one but he’s getting closer. Down to the wiring now, which is not fun lol, But he will get there. I’ll shoot an update video next time I’m up at his shop.

      I'd be interested in seeing the body makes for it

    Just ran across your video I am getting ready to try to put a 2 cylinder diesel engine it's about 40 horsepower homemade homemade trick just wondering if you had any suggestions

      All my dad can say is that if the engine is currently on something and running, be SURE to mark all your wires and where everything goes to make it run. Especially if it's computer controlled, etc. Thanks for watching!!

    Has it been finished?

      Dad got it about 95% completed and decided it was "too long" :) So he tore it all down and used about half the parts to make a Geo Metro conversion trike. He had it about 95% completed when he passed away last month. His neighbor finished it up though and is riding it all the time now. Thanks for watching!!

    I need a trike with a truck bed but a motorcycle engine. For hauling.

      Yep, when I used to travel to China a lot I used to see a lot of motorcycle truck type things running around over there in the rural areas. Course that was 20 years ago, so things are probably different now :) Thanks for watching!!

    No updates? Not a trike builder, but looking to be a trike owner. Asap.

      Hi Billy. The Ranger build had a problem of some sort so he switched over to a Geo Metro build, rear engine. I'll be doing a video in the next month or so. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching!!

    Was it ever finished?

    • @HillbillyMusings
      @HillbillyMusings  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Troy, he did get it finished but had a front end issue that he couldn't get worked out. Long story short he was wanting a different style again anyway so he pulled most of the parts from this and went with a front wheel drive Geo conversion trike. I'll do a video on it next time I'm home. Thanks for watching!!

    Should have used a V8. Anything else is just a compromise imo.
