Hi Emily I'm absolutely loved the Radvent cardigan the colours are stunning can wait to see it finished Catkins is lovely is so delicate Thanks for sharing xx
I am loving the Van Gogh sweater! The colors represent his work so well. I cannot wait to see it finished. Loved following you during Vlogmas. Always had your video to look forward to on bad days.
I came across the gnomes of grimblewood on a podcast on 6th January, had it delivered on 7th January, and I'm halfway through gnome number 2, on the morning of 11th January. 😂😂😂 I'm using 4ply drops yarn, held double, to make lovely, marled colours. Soooooo addictive and seriously cute! Xxx
I discovered your channel during VlogMas and It is a little disconcerting when the new ones come on and the Christmas tree isn't there. :) Catkins is so beautiful! I really enjoy your channel - any time of year.
So enjoyed seeing the wip progress Emily! I sometimes struggle making decisions about what wips/projects to work on during a month so often make a list and use a random number generator to make the decision for me!😂. I did the year of gnomes last time (as a new gnome knitter) and ended up making 18 gnomes that year. This time I’m going to do a set of 12, mostly from the book, in Christmas colours. I can understand why you might go low key though.
The Catkins sweater is looking fabulous ❤ I will get round to casting mine on eventually, I have so many garments I want to knit this year but I am trying to only have 2 garment WIPs on the needles so I will have to be patient …… or knit faster 😂
Hello again I also have that Gnome book...was so wxcited to aee all of them in all their glory...in the foldout covers front and back...waitws 6 months for it to come
Loving both jerseys, but the catkins is really stunning. You definitely made the best decision with which advents to use for which jersey. I think your left radvent side is going pale green/brown/ greige. I can't remember what the 100g skein looks like anymore. I have a lot of issues with my hands and change up my crafts regularly so I don't land up aching. Or at least try to minimise pain. P.s. Rob is a keeper! And Hoya is in the same huge family as the plants I used to study/work on. I was going to say, in botanical Latin hobbii would be pronounced hobby-eye, but I'm 99.9% sure that's not what they intend!
Lots of lovely projects! You've inspired me to make a rug for my craft space using up some of my tshirt yarn which I'm very much looking forward to. Also loving the gnomes!!! Laura of @thelonelyknitter and Helen of @giddyknits are hosting a 'Friends that grimble together' as an unofficial gnomealong and you can dip in at any time with a finished gnome :) I'm planning to make at least one this year, possibly 2 if I can get my act together and give knitting small things a go haha.
