I'd love to see the Deep-V finished, largely because its such a long standing WIP- be good to clear it out, move it on, and make space! So if you've lost steam with it but don't want to frog it, could you make it into a vest and forget about the sleeves? I have only ever knitted garments flat and seamed, in that manner (I do shawls mostly so only do two or three garments a year) and you could make it into a vest or a layering slip-over by picking up stitches around the arm holes and knitting the rib the body used for the same depth as the neck rib. (and I've just read others have suggested this too . . .)

I think you should finish the rug. You will feel so amazing when you see it in your home.

I don’t know if anyone has suggested this to you yet. I watch Kelly of RowRow and Kades she is a knit wear designer and a podcaster from the north of England. She was knitting the Summer Sorrel top by Wool and Pine. It has a sweater yoke with a design with purling in between and the purling continues for the body of the sweater. When all the design was finished at the top she turned it instead out and knitted the inside. It was faster and no purling. If I didn’t explain right just contact Kelly and she will explain it right. Turn that last project into a vest! 🐸 the sleeves and use for ribbing on the armscyes As for the ribbed tank.... I agree about the process of ribbing a whole item... not my favourite stitch!

I too would like to see the rug finished. I've only got four wips on the go, two are blankets which have been on the needles for way too long, probably because they are on larger needles 6mm which make my hands ache

Make your Deep V into a slipover, put i-cord edging around the armholes. It will look amazing with a white tee under it.

I would like to see you finish the Diamond Lattice Rug than the Radvent Cardigan. Both these projects are going to be fabulous when completed.

Fun video. The book snake is cute at someone else’s home. Great idea, I just really dislike snakes! Hated even reading snake books with my kids when they were young(ha ha they both are older than you) daddy got to read those books with them. If I did something like that for my daughter it would be 20 to 30 feet long or longer. I stood in line to get her a signed copy of one of Ann Rices book back in the 1990’s She read it in less than 2 days. Love your 12 Birds of Christmas! I am seriously considering doing them. We are bird people. Have 6 birds. Love my birds! I have crocheted not as much as knitting. Some blankets, a sweater (a long time ago) and I am working on the Jethro Cardigan. Have knitted gnomes and a baby yoda, I wonder if I could crochet the birds? TH-cam algorithm popped your Vlogmas on my site this Christmas, have really enjoyed it. A temperature snake would work too, but it'd probably need to block wide sliding or concertina doors, knowing that those sort of snakes are typically draft blockers once finished. Hmmm. I wonder if it'd stop monkeys coming into our house!?

Emily, I know you love the Titans. My nieces’ husbands’ cousin is Josh Whyle and I worked as an Usher for the University of Cincinnati when he played for them. Here’s hoping for a better year for the Titans in 2025. I’m in Cincinnati so I’m a Bengals fan but we are always rooting for the Titans as well because of Josh. Happy New Year!
