I'm watching waaay to many of these videos (just kidding). Still on the cards for this year for me and the Mrs. May I ask - when was this video filmed - we are thinking May (may be a bit too soon) otherwise defnitely Septmeber, whaydyafink ?
Hi, Thanks for watching and dont stop! This clip was filmed on June 26th! I think this was probably the only overcast day the whole trip. May can be gorgeous. I have had snow on the high passes and -3 at night at the very end of April. I'd happily go in May. The best option would be go in May and September!
Went to picos last year for the first time on my own and definitely going back this year on my own as you have so much more freedom 😂😂

@RideSpain Sorry, it's my fault for not being very clear 🤣 what I meant to say was I now prefer to ride on my own now, not in a group, as I can do whatever I like 😉 🤣
@@richardgiles2484 Ah! yes, Interesting point! However we have plenty of guests that come on tour but ride independently of any group, we have friends that come and ride together. But what they do enjoy is meeting up at Lunch or in the evening and sharing a laugh and banter with like minded bikers. You can come on tour and still have as much "freedom" as riding solo.
What? Riding on your own? So lonely, riding in a group is not all about the riding but the socialising aswell. Having meals together etc.
@koop5365 I know mate. But for myself I really enjoy riding and stopping whenever I want and take the roads I want to do and at a speed I want. Done lots of the group rides and they always seem to be at 80mph which I don't enjoy.
Done a 2500k mile group ride a few years ago and seen next to nothing and racing from one hotel to the next 🤣
