  • Hello Folks, within this video, we will be building a Front Tower Strut Brace. Since Time attack season has started and I did a few lapping days, I have a loose feeling in the front and this would be the perfect addition to fix the situation.
You may buy a bar already designed for your car or you can save a few bucks and design it yourself.
A good bar would provide you with the ability to adjust the strength on the towers.

Good thing if you can built it your own. Most companies sell strut bars/strut races with bad fitment to worse and worse. If you need half a day to make it fit you better build it yourself.

i don't understand. your strut domes have inverted screws , the threading goes from down -up. how did you install nuts from up-down and without holding below the nut? did you weld them?

I think that depends on what top plate you’re running. In America the oem top mount are screws from top down. Aftermarket top mounts have the screws mounted within the plate.
The load of the car and without turning the steering you can remove the 3 screws and put them back in without problem.

Hi, it’s called heim joint. If I recall I used 1/2 hole size and 1/2 20 thread. You will also need the tube insert that matches the thread. Also pay attention since there are right and left hand thread. You will need one of each.

Yes it made a big difference on track. All of the flex that was previously there on every Apex is now gone. I would also recommend the same for the rear but it does have to be at the top of the shocks tower not at the bottom since the pressure is at the top where it flexes.
