These came out so cool. Thanks so much for showing all the different results you got. This has been on my to do list for a while so thanks for the reminder that I need to give this a try.
Another technique I haven't played with in years! I couldn't afford beeswax, so I just used the candle I had to hand. It was cream, but still gave lovely results. Thanks for the reminder of how to update this oldie but a goodie 😊
I really love this technique! I need to pull out my stuff and play around. I haven’t done much with it before. Thanks for the motivation and inspiration! Hugs 🤗❤️
Wow!!Great video. Can't wait to try this. I remember while ago experimenting with using bees wax, T his idea with the white candle seems easy. Just have to dust off my iron (if I can find it)🙃.
Love all of these. I wonder what some vintage coloured or even just coloured waxes would look like? 🤔 Cinnamon candle, Christmas red, Vanilla, Green Tea… Oo what about some little streaks of metallic wax 😁
I love this and what you shared. I have used this method before but wonder how you keep the wax from leaking through onto any pages or pockets you put these in. If you have a solution that works, please share it. Love this and want to use it, hugs
The candle wax is dry at the moment, so I would put it in my journal. I can imagine when this is laying in full sun or next to a heat source it might melt......then it will leak, but maybe I got you wrong.
Love this idea! one of the best videos I have seen for grungy Ephemera . Great work! thank you for sharing your creative mind
Never saw this technique before. Was very interesting to watch. I love it. Definitely will try it. Love your work and video. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Love this! The collage paper came out beautiful. Love the specimen slide. Thank you for always inspiring 🙏🏽

Very awesome technique. I have worked with beeswax and encaustic wax before. I love how it makes the tissue transparent.
Excellent way to use wax. I had always melted beeswax in a heat ray and dipped. This is much less of a process. Thanks, Marleys.
I love this technique Marlise! I love when you make videos like this to help us along!🥰
Fabulous, absolutely fabulous!
Awesome technique
Loved this video thank u
Would’ve liked to see how you did the envelope ❤️

Thanks, Marlys! At first, I thought you'd stamped on vellum which gave me another idea!😘

This is so cool! I love it!

Love this technique!!
Pretty! Do you have a separate iron for crafting? I would imagine this might ruin your iron for clothes? 😂
I did not had a separate iron 🤔🤔🤔
I’m in the USA and wondered when you said napkin if you were referring to a 2-ply paper napkin or cloth napkin like 100% cotton or linen.
I was indeed referring to a 2-ply paper napkin, great question 🙌
