I love stamping tissue paper for collaging using a similar technique. But I love using different colors of tissue paper and using different colored inks; plus I love using all those unused stamps. 💐
Same here! I keep Kraft colored tissue papers from Amazon or other packaging and stamping with stazon gives them a vintage tissue paper look, perfect for collage!
Ahhhh I’m so proud of myself that I’ve done this on my own just bcuz I thought it’d be like my own handmade made tape. I used vintage photo to tint too but used stazon for stamping. In fact I bought the one inch white masking tape from hobby lobby to make this as well. Thank you for your take on this, inspired to do more of this now! PS: I stamp my own tissue paper too, especially white and that kraft colored ones in packaging. Great fodder for collage.
Thanks, Michele. I love all your videos ❤ 😅 my God, why didn't I think think of doing it this way. 😅I made this year's ago from a video I saw here on YT. The lady ripped the pieces of tape, did the stamping, and then put back in a paper tower roll cover with wax paper. I just used it to make a journal, and it was hard to pull off since the tape got super sticky. 🥰❤️ (My journal cover and tags were inspired by You). Thanks for showing us so many amazing ideas❤
Gawlleee!! Super Cool & Efficient paper craft Tip Michelle!!! Thank You Much!!! (Now, to buy a roll and a thin roll to experiment on!! Big Hugs!🤗🙋🏻♀️💐- Mindi
This is very addictive. I use cellophane packaging from stamps. Lay a bunch of strips side by side so you can stamp more efficiently. Easy to store the sheets too.
I LOVE this idea! I’m thinking you could do it on any clear tape (with StazOn) and have a clear sticker kind of effect. I’ll be trying the masking tape and clear tape! Thanks for sharing. 😊
I love the look of this, but masking tape turns yellow with time. I guess it depends on how long you want your creation to retain its original look. An alternative might be artist’s tape, although it’s more expensive. Or to simulate “tape” by stamping onto narrow strips of paper.
Masking tape is meant for temporary use and removal. Over time, it dries out and yellows and stops sticking. If you want to keep your journals for years, other tapes would be a better choice.

Sure, as well as stamping on tea on coffee dyed Tracing Paper too!! Lovev it!!👍😉
Question with tissue paper does it have to be Staz On?
@@Cherishthamomentprobably any ink that is permanent would work.
I love this idea! It's a great way to create a themed tape for a specific project. This would be cool in other colors of ink, too. Thank you!!
Mind blown! I have been crafting for thousands of years and never thought of that! Thank you!!!!!❤
I love this idea! The possibilities are endless! Thank you!

That's washi tape!! It should also work using painters tape. They come in many other colors now. This is a WOW !!!! THANK YOU !!

When I do grid art, I use the painted masking tape for washi tape and then I can stamp on them. I use parchment paper to stick the tape down after. 😊
Great video! Have you tried using double-sided tape with tiny scraps of bookpage, coloured paper, comics, lace, snippings etc?
Great idea!
Wow!! I much prefer this over washi tape. No I’m going to have to try it 😊
Great idea 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Awesomeness ❤

Clever. Thank you for sharing.

Merci Michele 😊
I also bought a fabric like tape roll I found in goodwill for a buck. Great for stamping and looks like fabric twill tape totally.

That is a very good idea but I think my masking tape is not as thin and see through as yours this. Guess I need to go to the dollar store
Thanks for sharing 😊
Looks like a fun project! Wondering if it works on the medical tape you use sometimes?
Yes, it does.
Love it something I can also do :)
