If we can recognize the voice that is on the microphone calling us into these pitfalls, then we can learn to avoid them by following the voice of God instead. Yes! I keep thinking I'm supposed to do prison ministry when I know I'm not called to it😵 or stand on a corner preaching 😵 ( I'm trying to learn the scriptures) but I can pray with love in my heart for people ( even if it's not long or eloquent) and I can give encouragement from what I know about Jesus and His heart for us💖

Comparison
1. devalues your uniqueness
2. disrupts your calling.
3. destabilizes your sense of accomplishment
What do we do to get comparison off the mic? (5 verbs in Hebrews 12)
1. see: cloud of witnesses cheers for you
2. run: run the race that is outmarked for you
3. rid: get rid of what you need to get rid of today.
4. fix: fix your eyes on Jesus.
5. fight: endure.
What do we want to hear at the end of our life?
"Well done you good and faithful servant."
Only God can say that to you because he knows EVERYTHING.
