Thank you for not having any ridiculous music, instead you talk and explain. I appreciate your model building channel. The only channels I watch are the ones without the music
One thing I have always liked about Tamiya is that they "talk" to you, the modeler, in their instructions - they relate to you. This kit further underscores their commitment to create strong brand preference with this latest state-of-the-art execution.
Hello Andy ,just want to say how much your videos have helped me out when i was struggeling to get the right look when i was weathering my models ,google couldnt help but u did !!! and im so thankfull for that ,hope u understand my low level of spelling (im from sweden) well at last keep doing your thing becouse you are the one of all builders i ever seen here on youtube !!! take care //// from a gluing swede =)
Once again a terrific video Andy! I feel sorry for people who don't exhibit the patience, determination and mental creativity to do this type of art. I too have been building models for many many years, but haven't shown the world my hobby. One day I will. Keep on modeling Andy. Bravo!
For a guy who doesn't focus mainly on aircraft builds, your Bf-109 looks FANTASTIC. You always know just what to do and what not to do. GREAT BUILD!!!!
What I love about Andy's videos is that he clearly explains every step. Other videos might sayput on some thinner. Andy explains that it's enamel or acrylic thinner. This makes it so much easier for novices to understand. Well done Andy!
Tamiya always makes first class top of the line kits and this is no exception. Where this kit really shines is for the folks that build dioramas. It’s pretty much set up for that if you choose to do so. As always, your finished model looks terrific and thank you for another informative build.
Andy, your videos are some of the best I've ever seen! Your camera work is very crisp, your instructions are great and best of all, no annoying music! Please keep making videos!
People can argue about the accuracy and level of detail in tamiya kits... but engineering wise, Tamiya kits are definitely in a league of their own :) Thank you for another great video.
I am in the closing stages of building this kit and it has to rank as one of the finest models I've ever built . On numerous occasions I have let out a Wow ! when parts have gone together with such precision that the join has vanished as if by magic . The closed cowling is absolutely flawless . The only thing I messed up were the rudder pedals because I didn't understand how they fitted but they are barely visible . 10/10 👍
One thing that marvels me is how Andy does things and seems easy and simple. Because when I try to do the same models nothing goes alright. It is a damn mess. Wish I could be as skilled as Andy is
i just got this kit in the mail to build in the summer and its crazy on how many things are included such as masking stickers for the canopy and the cowlings able to be changed from opened and closed, along with a drop tank that can be taken off and attached
Outstanding work! I just ordered this model after having built the Tamiya Spitfire. Can't wait to give this a go! I really appreciate the tips, and will drop by when I'm out to visit my family in AZ.
Just picked one up and cant wait to get started on it. Will be using referencing your video for assistance. Thank you for the great videos and keep them coming.
Absolutely enjoy watching your build videos... I pick up some good ideas watching them. You use the SNJ powders but for things like guns and such, I use graphite lead to give a nice metal sheen. I have several drafting lead holders and the sharpener so every time I sharpen the lead, I empty the grindings into an old 35mm film canister. Awesome Build!
wonderful job again Andy , you've done that Tamiya kit proud - i thought their early 109's were great kits but this one knocks those out of the ballpark
Something you might want to try next time you do a cockpit - I spray the entire thing first with a metallic silver colour, then use a coat of varnish, then undercoat/paint. I then use a hobby knife to scratch, or small bits of sandpaper to rub the top layer of paint off. That way, scratches/worn paint are genuine, better depth effect :)
Just finished this kit a cupple of days ago. Exept for making it to another unit than the included decals are for, all you need is some new seatbelts. The kit is of stunning quality and really builds up very nice. Highly recomended
I have a question. Does prop spin? I have done it multiple times but the problem is the prop keeps falling off which is why I don't recommend making a spinning prop.
The pigment powder comes out so well on the engine. I usually drybrush silver onto my models to add a metallic look. I hand painted a Warthog jet earlier this year (Never hand painting a large model ever again after that) and I cheated the cockpit by basing it in a matte black then drybrushing silver over it to bring out all the details, came out really nice for just a quick and easy shortcut.
Great build, Andy. Regarding the panel line wash - you might find it easier to control how much you remove if you wait until it's dry to the touch. You can use a paper towel moistened ever so slightly with thinner to remove it then, and the wash left in the recesses will look much cleaner.
amazing and inspirational work- empty weight approx 3200 lbs- max gross weight about 5200 lbs, So about 2000 lbs to spare for armament and or fuel- Yes , a pretty light fighter, and light attack aircraft.
Lovely kit and a few nice touches during the build, always interesting to watch. Is there any of the reviews which go into detail about gluing and masking the canopy, as that is always a scary bit for me..
Great video, thanks. I’ve just got this model as my 1st attempt at a kit in 35yrs, not sure it’s a good idea though!!! This video will definitely help. Did you prime all parts on the sprue first or did you detach then prime?
although the engine / cowling mechanism surely is a step-up it seems that the surface detail is a bit lacking compared to eduards' new 109g-6? perhaps it's youtube's compression and 720p but I can't see any of the rivets on the wings just some fairly basic panel lining.
Another excellent video. Is the white stripes on the propeller cover a decal? You should have displayed the bottom of the aircraft...you mentioned the paint color but didn't show it.
Thank you for a nice vid. Been seriously considering getting back into model building. Especially with learning how to airbrush.
Go for it! I got back into it 8-9 years ago after a 30 year break and I absolutely love it. It makes for a great winter hobby in northern Indiana.
Thank you for not having any ridiculous music, instead you talk and explain. I appreciate your model building channel. The only channels I watch are the ones without the music
Best video hands down, u never bore ppl, just beautiful stuff.
One thing I have always liked about Tamiya is that they "talk" to you, the modeler, in their instructions - they relate to you. This kit further underscores their commitment to create strong brand preference with this latest state-of-the-art execution.
Probably the best engineered kit I have ever seen. Fully detailed and highly interactive kit-with absolute mind-blowing fits.

Wow ! What a fantastic kit , so many variations and so much detailing. Well done tamiya, great build Andy
Very nicely done for an out of box kit. Really liked the weathering. Simple but makes the overall effect pop. Thanks for posting.
Excellent work. I just bought the 1/48 scale F-4U Corsair by Tamiya and plan to build my first model in over 30 years.

Andy you always seem to strike the balance between art and artifice you are true master of your craft great build as always
Thank you ! Just started a Messerschmitt BF109 E-4/7 - Tamiya will be very helpfull ! Nice model !

My oh my. The ol BF109 has come a long way since the mid 70's. Detail everywhere. Great job.
Gotta love Tamiya
Tamiya models are some of the best!

Seriously guys, the Bf109g was as beautiful an aeroplane as any in the skies, and this lovely kit does it full justice!
People can argue about the accuracy and level of detail in tamiya kits... but engineering wise, Tamiya kits are definitely in a league of their own :) Thank you for another great video.
100% agreed.
Pricewise they are also in a league of their own.
Very nice finish. Thank you for the video.
Nice one Andy from the UK always look forward to your videos a real craftsman

All that on a 1/72. Great stuff Mr. Lekic. Brilliant.
Lovely lovely build & Camo choice Andy & as always with Tamiya setting the bar once more, all the best.
Thanks Andy. Very helpful for those us just getting into the hobby.
Awesome job Andy! Can’t wait for this kit to show up and build!
Outstanding work! I just ordered this model after having built the Tamiya Spitfire. Can't wait to give this a go! I really appreciate the tips, and will drop by when I'm out to visit my family in AZ.
Great work Andy!
I really like the magnet idea. Options galore.
Thanks for sharing Andy. Another great build.
That’s one gorgeous 109, brilliant.
Nice kit and build. I like the addition of the micro magnets
Excellent video as always, your passion for model making inspires me to do better.
Hi Andy, love your work! A very informative and detailed video....makes life easy doing a model. Thanks for sharing.
Regards from The Land Down Under!
Tamyia really steps up the game all the time. Beautiful build.

Great looking model of this small fighter plane! Wonderful attention to detail!
What a happy chap... :) great work.
Great build Andy!!!!
Awesome build Andy!
a great model! super built thank you

Outstanding job like always Andy!
I always love wheels up. With the pilot figure. Can,t have a dogfight with wheels down.
Fantastic build and video as always Andy, thanks for sharing.
Watches video, buys model, job done. Cheers Andy.
I have been waiting for this video! I appreciate you branching out and doing different things. It has inspired me to try planes again!
As always great job Andy! Best models on the web. Keep the great content coming
Thank you
@@AndysHobbyHeadquarters you inspired me to make this model

Looks like a serious challenge to the Eduard kit. Good build!
Great paint job Andy, one of your best I think.
Beautiful build Andy. Really like the micro-mag approach they did. Wonder if other kit-makers will follow suit.

Really nice build!
FYI, RLM 66 mandated for COCKPITS, but RLM 02 continued to be mandated for engine bays, engine bearers, wheel bays.
Can you build it with the landing gear up?
Nice job again Andy
Thank you
Nice video another one time !
Very nice!
Nice Model also great build
I bought this model today, awesome detail. Congrats on 100k subcribers!!
amazing and inspirational work- empty weight approx 3200 lbs- max gross weight about 5200 lbs, So about 2000 lbs to spare for armament and or fuel- Yes , a pretty light fighter, and light attack aircraft.
Amazing work Andy, keep up the good work :D
Very impressive....excellent
It's great model and the paint job was really good. Dig it completely.... My first kit and plane is the 109 and I am fan... Thanks
Awesome job Andy
Nice build. However, considering how you have weathered the '109 , surely even a little bit of exhaust staining should be present.
Wonderful build
I hope you read our comments I love getting feed back on certain stuff
Looks great Andy!
Great build, would love to see more planes from you! Cheers.
good job, but what about the "wire" which ends beyond the antenna? 27:35
Great model, I'll be sure to get this in Feb
That's a nice canopy ;)
You added streaks on wings, but I am wondering if you did the same on vertical surfaces of the body.
Would love if you did more aircraft models! This one is lovely!
Man that model looks great! Tamiya did it right! I hope other companies use the micro magnets and poly caps!
Thanks for the build:)
Gorgeous Sir ! ! ! ... Could you make a 1/35 scale Puma, or late War Stug ?.
DJJAW11 - Tamiya does a nice Puma, think it's an upgraded Italeri kit, in 1/35
Thankyou sir :). I did used to collect Tamiyas catalogues, i guess I should remember :).
DJJAW11 filmy polskue
Or more to the point, where do I find WWII 1/35 Warplanes? I’d appreciate very much if you guys could give me some pointers/links. Thanks in advance!
@@mariotreglia4066 There is 1/32 which is the closest
Looks like a great kit, though Mtt Regensburg built G-6's use a different wing camo pattern to the WNF one used here.
Lovely kit and a few nice touches during the build, always interesting to watch. Is there any of the reviews which go into detail about gluing and masking the canopy, as that is always a scary bit for me..
I have one on my way right now...can't wait to try it out! Although I'm not gonna use the same colors, I'm more of a Vallejo fan..
Great video, thanks. I’ve just got this model as my 1st attempt at a kit in 35yrs, not sure it’s a good idea though!!! This video will definitely help. Did you prime all parts on the sprue first or did you detach then prime?
amazing build
Looks good, I'm still a little wary of magnetising scale models, especially built in magnetisation.
Still hoping for a build with the 109 waddle.
Great video, would like to see the underside and how you did it.
Buen trabajo!Saludos desde España

I love you vids! Recently finished a tiger model, making it a Afrika Korps tiger 1!
Is there any different product other then the testors because that dull coat is very hazardous
