I know cables on this video are like one of those children book exercises where you have to draw the right path from A to B 😂 Both Game Boys goes into Pandora px5d wich is a multi effects unit, but only one of Game Boys is effected since the second-one goes through Pandora's aux input. Pandora then goes into Nightverb and Nightverb goes into Kaoss DJ. This is where triple effects chain title comes from. KO2 goes to the spare channel into Kaoss DJ for beat repeats. The rest goes straight into main mixer. In terms of sync there's an Arduino Boy involved to make Game Boy as a master clock via midi to korg volca which further distributes it to the next volca and pocket operator via sync cables. Both Game Boys are connected with link cable to keep them both in sync and since that link cable is spliced for both DMG and GBC port standards (which is needed to connect to the Arduino Boy), it can both trigger the second Game Boy and Arduino Boy in master mode at the same time. I discovered this spliced link cable advantage relatively recently and it really broadens the possibilities how chiptune can be incorporated in to the synth setup.
